Up for auction is a used Tyler model RX-24 portable sieve shaker. This model is capable of shaking 6 eight-inch sieves for lengths of time determined by the built in timer. This unit looks as though it has seen heavy use. But it still functions admirably when turned on. However, the clamps that are used to hold down the sieves during shaking are not original to the unit, and while they do work, a bit of ingenuity in jury rigging a hold down may occasionally be required. There are several cosmetic issues with respect to the motor housing including dings. Scratches and discoloring. The outer edges of the vertical rods where the clamps have been repeatedly tightened are slightly chewed; see the included photo above. The item as sold as is.
