Tektronix 1503C Time Domain Reflectometer, Taken Care of and Very Clean
Excellent. Near mint cosmetic condition. Includes cover, 110 VAC power cable, BNC extension cable, BNC-to-alligator clip test adapter, original Operator's Manual, complete copy of Service Manual including schematics, parts layout diagrams and parts lists(about 1" thick)and TDR Cable Tester Calculator. We also installed a new rechargeable battery in November of 2013 that has had virtually no use. We used the battery to activate the unit for these screen photos but it also works fine on 110 VAC. BE SURE TO SCROLL DOWN(TO THE RIGHT OF THE PICTURES) TO SEE ALL THE PHOTOS. This TDR tester appears to work fine. HOWEVER, we do not know how to use it and did not have time to read the manual to put it through all it's paces. THEREFORE, WE ARE SELLING IT AS-S WITH NO RETURNS ACCEPTED. Below is a list of things we know about the unit. Please ... morelook over the list and all the photos and use those to determine the amount of your bid. Please do not ask us to do more tests on the unit. 1)Display is very clear. 2) When it powers on it shows that it is initializing and gives the info. about the unit. 3) All the switches and pots on the front of the unit work smoothly and cleanly and change the appropriate display settings as they should. 4) The set of waves on the display. One positive and one negative, are what displays when we measure a piece of 50 ohm RG-58 coax about 17 feet long, shorted at the terminating end. Setup for this measurement is shown in photo#2. 5) The exterior of the unit including the cover and the storage pouch on top are in VERY good condition. 6) THE PRINTER DOES NOT WORK. It makes printer-type noises when you press the print button but no printed paper emerges. In short. It appears the unit has seen very little use and has been treated well. AGAIN, the unit is being sold as-is with no returns accepted. If you have some simple questions feel free to ask them. Just don't ask us to do a bunch of further testing.
