For sale is a Vintage 1917 Weston Model 329 Polyphase WattMeter. This item is dated October 30. 1917, which you can see in the photo. This item for being almost 100 years old is in really good condition. There are some cosmetic flaws consistent with age. The leather strap/handle is broken on one side. The knobs are all intact except for one to my knowledge. This item comes with original user manual, and has the original certificate intact, showing the date. The wooden box latches and closes as it should and the wood itself has some scratches and scuffs but no major damage to the box itself. The meter could stand a light cleaning because there is some dust on it from storage, but overall what a beautiful piece. The pictures really give a better visual description. 2 vintage gauges or meters. Plus an old pair of safety goggles on auction here. The first is a Mercoid Switch. The Mercury is still inside the bubble. The model is a DA-31. I don't see any patent dates The Diameter is about 5-3/4" The next is a Weston Microamperes Meter. Diameter is about 3-1/2" No patent date on that one either. Selling As Is because I have no idea if they are working or not. Next, is a pair of Willson foldable safety glasses. The one side shield has a small crack) You can see that on the last photo. The Mercoid Switch came out of a box of old steam gauges and railroad tools my Grandfather collected from the PBNE Railroad in Bethlehem, PA. The Microampere Meter was in the same box, but I have no idea where he got something like this.It doesn't fit in from where he worked, but who knows. The glasses were ... moreprobably my Father's. Here is a vintage Weston Galvanometer in it's original wooden case. Measures 10 3/4" x 7 3/4" x 7 1/4" tall not counting the leather handle. Meter tested resistance and wood case has some spotting which is typical for it's age. All brass hinges and latch. I will charge extra to ship this to a PO box. You are bidding on two galvanometers. They are both made by Weston. Model 301 has General Radio Co. printed on the face. Additional markings include G. R. 588-306-A on the front and the number 89246 on the back. The Weston Thermo-Galvanometer includes the words Current Squared, Radio Frequency. Res= 4.5 I =115 M.A. Model 425 No. 13334 Neither have been tested and are sold asis. The glass on the General Radio one is a bit loose. This piece comes from a wide range of early test equipment assembled by a knowlegable collector.

Dimensions are 10.5" x 8.5" x 5.75" Wattmeter face itself is in great condition with no wear and tear. Comes with a Info Sheet which shows it came from the factory on April 16 1920. Vintage Gamewell FDNY Fire Alarm Box Weston Electrical 0-150 mA Panel Test Meter
A nice old FDNY Alarm Box panel meter. Measures a current of 0-150 milliamperes. Which is exactly what you would want for a Gamewell home alarm system display. The meter has been tested& functions properly. It mounts into a 2 1/8" hole and is fastened with 3 screws. The condition is very good but with a minor stress crack in the painted brass bezel. The glass is not scratched, chipped or broken. Listed as-found and in need of a good cleaning. This meter was made by the Weston Electrical Instrument Corp. Newark, NJ. It is model number 354. I do not know the exact age, but imagine it is likely circa 1930's-1940's. A very nice meter for a fire alarm enthusiast that is seldom available. Fast.
