Tinius Olsen 1000 Load Cell Tensile Compression Test Machine Needs Some Repair
This machine had an electronic problem when I bought it and I intended on fixing it but just never got around to it. As best as I can remember it has a blown capacitor and a burnt resistor. No other problems are obvious. It is not beat up or damaged. It is well worth repairing. It weighs 90 pounds. Would be best to ship by freight in order not to get it dropped or otherwise damage. This tool is in the original box. Both tool and box could pass for new. The indicator is graduated in.001" and was made by Ames specifically for Tinius Olsen which is shown on the dial face. Head plate does not show Model Number, only the serial number. Tinius Olsen is still very much in business so I feel certain any questions could be answered by them.
