3 Phase Motor Controller with Soft Start, 240Vac 40A
Up for sale I have about 12 of these 240Vac 40A motor controllers. These are designed around the original Frank Nola patent. The controllers will look at the motor load and provide"off time" to match the motors load. Should the motor load change, the controller's smart technology reduces the"off time" to insure the motor will not stall. The application of this control is for motors that do not have a full load at all times. Energy Savings"off time" is added when the motor is off loaded and when torque is required or load is increased the controller provides additional power to the motor while insuring the motor cannot stall. Initial Motor Soft Startup is also a feature of this controller. Instead of providing full power at startup. The controller offers a variable and setable startup ramp rate. Upon startup ... morethe motor starts slowly and gradually comes up to full speed and power. After defining the motor load, the controller begins its energy savings feature. The energy feature is also infinitely variable and can be set by the operator. Should no energy savings be desired, simply set the energy"off time" potentiometer to zero and only the soft startup feature can be utilized. These controllers are for use with standard 240Vac 60 Hz motors. They are NOT for PWM DC motors. Instructions and operation data is available upon request. These controllers have been refurbished and have new 90 amp SCR's installed. The units look and operate as new equipment. The photo shows exactly what you will receive.
