This is a very fine example of a very early and rare Hickok Signal Generator. The model number is not on the unit. But I found a gentleman who has a picture of this unit on his website and that is the number that he is using. Here is a link to his website. This unit has a new power cord. The capacitors have been replaced and the tubes have been tested and are good. The unit has not been tested against a frequency meter. I also have what I believe to be an original typed manual for this unit. This also notes that it is a Type OS-7. This is the only copy of a manual for this unit that I am aware of. There are some stains, scratches, scuffs and wear due to age but overall this item is in decent physical condition. This oscillator is useful for taking selectivity curves on tuned circuits over a wide range of frequencies. For measuring the transmission characteristics of filters, and for testing ... morewide-band systems such as television amplifiers and coaxial cables. The instrument is also an excellent general laboratory oscillator for use as a source for bridge measurements and as a modulator for standard-signal generators. Two high-frequency oscillators.
