Analog scopes should not be used close to their upper bandwidth limit, digitizing scopes carry the same caveat even more so. It is recommended for use at under 150MHz. Whereas a non-storage scope can only display what happens after triggering. A digital storage scope can also display what happens before triggering, and this is its main advantage it's like a time machine. You can think of it as an endless loop recorder(like a cockpit voice recorder of an airplane) and you can look back any part of the loop you haven't re-recorded over. I got three of these from an"electronics guy" He had all kinds of old test equipment downstairs in his'shop' When you plug it in and turn it on. The power light comes on. If you turn the knobs, you receive no response from or affect on the oscilloscope. No trace ever appears. This is all I know how to do as I have sold a number of oscilloscopes but I am just a reseller and do not know how to use them. I guess the internet leads me to sites that audio people say it works for audio and AM but too low for FM. I think this is collectable too as it was the first battery powered oscilloscope made. I took of the battery department. Has the removal key type pin that holds battery compartment on below. There were no batteries in it and the compartment has not been corroded from batteries being left in there. Has what appears to be ... morethe original 3 pin AC power cable.
