This came in from a test facility that had some older equipment that they didn't need anymore. This looks like it was in storage and not used for awhile. A lot of stuff we get from h ere works fine. See a lot of great positive feedbacks we have gotten from these. And haven't been tested and sold as parts/repair, so must have been pretty good! I am not a technician, but I did plug it in and it fired up okay. F irst powered up and showed a trace pretty much centered in the lower part of the grid. I moved the trace left/right. Up/down. Increased/decreased intensity. Adjusted the focus, etc. I decided to punch a bunch of buttons to get the panel to light up and show that it does seem to work somewhat. Came up with two different traces, with two lines in each trace. Picture three has a dual trace in the center(center two lines) with a bigger dual trace(upper and lower lines) enclosing the inner dual trace.There is not much else I can do to test this since I have no probes. You are bidding on a pair of Tektronix 475 Dual Trace 200 MHZ scopes and high frequency Tektronix probe 6137. One scope is working. One is not. The working scope is shown in pictures 1-8, the non-working scope powers up but has no display, it is shown in picture 10. Both have a cover and the good scope has a lead bag. The P6137 probe(400 MHZ) is included and tested good, compensator screw is working also. Tested both channels with the self calibration on the scope. Then checked both channels with a Fluke 515A calibrator. 1 VDC gives 2 divisions at.5 v per division. 1 VAC gives 1.4 division PEAK at 1 v/division. All satisfactory. The sawtooth is 10MHZ from a Wavetek 21. Both scopes are cosmetically nice with no marking or permanent labels. It has also escaped the rigors of being powered up on the bench day after day which eventually takes its toll on the CRT. I have not seen a 400 series scope in this condition in years. The display is bright and very crisp. It comes with two P6105 probes and the probe manual. It has the original operators manual and a full size printed copy of the service manual in two volumes. There are two spare screens. One clear and one blue. It also has a pouch and cover. There are no marks, writing, or tags anywhere on this scope. TEKTRONIX 475 DM43 Oscilloscope Very Nice Condition- Tested and Working Fine I purchased this from a retired friend's personal equipment- I don't know anything about these. But he ran through a bunch of tests and said that it was working fine. Cosmeically it appears to be in very nice condition. There are only a couple of really minor cosmeic flaws(which I've shown in the pictures) 1) There is a small chip in the trim on upper left hand corner of the DM-43. 2) The outer plastic casing on one of the knobs is cracked(lower right hand corner of the 475) 3) Two of the pastic feet have broken off(I would just remove all of the feet but I'll leave that for the winner to decide.
