But you can now get it for a tiny fraction, working as well as new. ... more2465A was successor to best selling 2465 and predecessor to 2465B. 2465A added: keeping track of hours on, auto-scaling(idiotproof button) and front panel knob setting(setups) memory. I find not keeping track of hours by plain 2465 to be a serious drawback(you wouldn't want 1 that racked 262000 hours in its 30 years existance by being left on all the time, or even with 66000 hours if it was left on 1/4th the time) Scopes I sell have clocked less than 20000 hours. For 2465A that works out to no more ON than about 1/10th of the time. Another serious drawback of plain 2465 is a no longer made fan. 2465A uses a still available fan, and I do replace them as bearings wear. The only advantage I can think of that plain 2465 had was not needing a Li battery for memory backup. I routinely replace the Li battery in 2465As I sell(doubt others do, since doing it deletes cal) This Tek 2465A. A 350MHz analog scope, will be sent to you freshly calibrated, and ready to use. Vertical sensitivity goes down to 5mV/div. Horizontal sweep goes to 2ns/div(10X) Unit has all kinds of sweep and trigger modes. Total weight is about 24 pounds. Used unit in good physical and electrical condition. We have checked this unit out and it seems to be in good operating condition. The B +/ trigger switch does operate. But the shaft seems to be loose inside the unit. Also, in the A INTEN sweep mode the A trace seems to stop at the end of the B trace, not a big deal but think it should continue to the end of the screen(see next to last photo) The last photo is the B timebase ALT function(which looks like it works fine) Screen is nice and bright with good focus and no burns. Calibrated TEKTRONIX 2465BDM 2465B DM 400MHz Analog OSCILLOSCOPE
I'm selling 2 of my own scopes that were my own workhorses. This one here is 2465BDM with all options but TV. It was my backup scope for my main 2465BDV that I used for my own work. The other one. In a separate auction, is 2465BDV- almost the same but WITH Video option. Everything else(GPIB, CTT, WR, Multimeter) is the same. Item description will be almost identical for both scopes(it takes too much time to write separate detailed descriptions. Photos are of the actual scope except multimeter reading that is the same for both of them and I somehow forget to take a picture for both of theme so only one shown. I'm not making business selling scopes. Just selling my own stuff I no longer need. That means those scopes were fully refurbished with care for my own use, not just to sell them i.e. I did it for myself so I did not cut any corners ... moreor made any compromises. The reason I'm selling those is simple- I purchased a couple of fully loaded 2467B scopes with multiple issues some time ago and restored them to fully working condition. It took me almost 6 months but was well worth an effort- I like them more than 2465Bs and that is why I'm selling my primary and backup 2465Bs. I won't be quoting 2465B specs- those who know 2465B don't need them and those who do need specs don't need 2465B: Those 2 scopes were fully refurbished(finished last August or so) for my own use. Not for sale. It is a real job, not just a mere claim. By that time they had fresh Li batteries installed so those are one year old now and will definitely last for at leas 10 more years(there is a sticker with installation date on each battery. Power supplies were fully recapped with proper fresh high quality capacitors(all electrolytics and all line input X2/Y1 caps. I do NOT remember what each particular capacitor had been replaced with(it's almost a year since that) but I used only first-class replacements- Nichicon PZ, Sanyo SVP OsCons etc. I will not take them apart now for inventory but you can see power supplies wi

Tektronix 485 2 Channel 350MHz Analog Oscilloscope
I have had this scope for a number of years with light use. Cosmetics are pretty good. A few of the little rubber switch ends have cracks. The feet have a few bits of plastic off but that is about it. Last cal was decades ago. If the scope is not used for a long period sometimes it is necessary to cycle the switches but they come back. I believe it is all working but have not tested some of the less used functions like z axis. The scope is a 2 channel. The four traces in the picture show mixed B delayed by A mode. A 485 has roughly a 300- 350MHz bandwidth with the proper probes. No probes or manual are included. I have a pdf of the maintenance manual if desired.

It features two identical phase matched amplifiers with true differential inputs. The scope has a bandwidth specification of 450 kHz and sensitivity to 1mV per centimeter. I am offering you a tested good Triggering U950 IC for any of the 2400series analog scopes like 2465. 2465A, Tek would have charged at least $250 for one of these until the late 1990s, when they quit supplying them. Also, from 1995 on, those Tek supplied labeled"Maxtek" instead of"Tek" proved to be less reliable. I am supplying pre-1995"Tek" The most common symptom of a bad U950 is a blank screen or no intensity control response, but intensity is still adjustable from internal grid bias pot. Since I have multiple quantity of these. Date codes on those you'll get may differ from photo. I also have all other parts 2400s. I ship worldwide. Ebay& Paypal require I ship by carrier/method that includes tracking& delivery confirmation. Which public Airmail is not good at. 2252 was Tek's high end(most feature packed) 100MHz portable analog scope from 1990 to 1994. It cost $4500 new. But you can now get it for a tiny fraction, working correctly. 2252 is identical to 2247A, but adds an unusual feature for an analog scope: a printer port(which means it includes a slow digitizer) actually 2: a GPIB and a Centronics. These ports are compatible with printers of the late 80s/early 90s era, such as Tek HC200, HP 2225, and other Epsom compatible dot matrix printers.
