The quality of the design of this model and the actual realization of the ideas implemented is still something to marvel upon. The inputs are selectable 50 Ohm or 1 MOhm; 50 Ohm input has bandwidth of 350 MHz; while 1 MOhm is 250 MHz. Tektronics 422 Oscilloscope, Needs Power Cord, Tested/Working
If you like vintage equipment this might suit you! This scope needs a power cord. I rigged a temp cord and powered it up. But that is not included in this sale and you wouldn't want to use it anyway. But I seem to remember that channel one couldn't get a trace on the screen. Please consider that to be likely when you bid. I was able to adjust the horizontal. Vertical and focus. Beyond that I don't know how to test any further. The bright red color of the knobs is correct as shown above. Later pics may show them darker.that is just a photography result. Tektroniz TEK 453 oscilloscope and probe - tested
This is a working. Tested Tek 453 oscilloscope. It has not been recently calibrated, but all channel and trigger functions work. I have tried to take representative pictures showing traces on both channels and triggering in alt mode. I have also provided pictures showing the scale illumination and a relistic trance intensity in focus. One picture shows that the trace can be made much brighter(demonstrates the health of the CRT) but that intensity washed out the scale for practical use. I am including 2 non-original tek probes, a 6105 that works and is complete, and another 6000 series that DOES NOT WORK, but used to. perhaps there is a fix, perhaps not. You can see that the face and controls are clean and not abnormally scratched or dinged. The screen and cover are also in clean condition. Working nicely as shown. V/div tested all settings both channels. Passes all of it's tests. Nice CRT. The most troublesome capacitors in the power supply have been replaced.
