The photos here may be somewhat confusing as I was initially going to list these three together. This auction is for the 7B53A S/N B189904 only. It shows little evidence of use with no dings or scratches and like the other two is fully functional. All of these trigger to 125 mhz or so and show good timing accuracy and sweep linearity. They are fully checked out however I did not formally calibrate them. These are best matched with the 74xx. 75xx and76xx mainframes but work well in all of 7000 Series. Tektronix Type 453 dual trace 50 MHz Oscilloscope
Tektronix Type 453 oscilloscope: 50 MHz dual trace scope and compensating probe. Probe is 10 Meg. 7.0 PF, 9.0 FT, 600V. Knobs and switches appear to work although not extensively tested in all combinations. The pictures are of the actual unit. The three wave form pictures were generated using a Heathkit AS10 signal generator. They are a 1.0 MHz. 100KHz and 1kHz square wave(channel A) and sine wave(channel B) The distortion in the square wave results from the quality of the AS10, and the frequency span was limited by the AS10. I have used this scope for more than ten years and am downsizing a little. It is in good cosmetic shape and nothing appears to be missing. Here is the Tektronix 422 dual channel 15 MHz analog oscilloscope as located at a local sale and confirmed to be in fine working condition. While it's been about 50 years since my last use of these. My testing convinces me that it works fine. The photos show use of the two probes, a P6105 and a P-6106 probe, each 10X, 10 megohm and each hooked to the 2 volt calibration port. Sweep, trigger, positioning, and voltage ranges work as expected. The display focus, astigmatism, and scale illumination work, and the intensity has great range suggesting a CRT with lots of remaining life. The case has seen a lot of life. But the handle is strong and the case has no corrosion or dents, but an old sticker is on the top, and generally all is in need of a cleanup. The front storage compartment has lost its cushioning but is still useful and contains, ... morein addition to the two probes, a P-6028 probe and a few additional items. A Google search turned up the a manual.pdf available at no cost. I'll pass along the link to the winner. This is a fine analog scope. Still useful for many applications. High-quality, yet low-cost oscilloscope. I acquired these oscilloscopes from a local university. When I first began to check them out, I was surprised by their functionality. Their design is pretty much what you would expect of a universal oscilloscope― if such a thing existed. Their operation, the placement and design of the controls and so on are pretty much identical to what I have come to expect from the most expensive scopes. And everything seemed to operate perfectly; if there are any flaws. I haven't detected them. These ... morescopes are manufactured by Elenco. Heat, or Pintak. The major difference between them are the tint of the front panel and its labels; other than that, they are the same oscilloscope with a couple of small differences. The photo of the Heath units is the bottom photo below. As you can see, they are identical except that the Heath scopes have a blue tint on their front, and near the bottom middle of the front, they have an additional jack labeled"Component Test. Other than this, they are identical. Their schematic diagrams are the same. I don't have printed manuals for these scopes. But I do have electronic versions of their User's Manual and Instruction Manual(see green box below) Sorry.
