Used O-scope. It was used by UMass student during junior and senior years. It was powered only 45 times. And used very gently. It's 100% operational. It's very good O-scope for someone studying electrical engineering in University and commuting to University. This auction is for Tektronix 2430A oscilloscope with calibration verified on Feb 27.2015. Overall a very nice running scope- only flaws cosmetic in nature. Sold with a new pair of switchable 1X/10X 100MHZ probes. The Tektronix models 2430.2432,and 2440 are the last models where Tektronix published complete service manuals with SCHEMATICS, parts lists and diagnostic flow charts making board repairs possible. The design uses standard ttl dip chips for most of the design with only a few specialized parts. The later TDS models lack complete service manuals so repairs is by changing complete boards. If you decide to buy an older TDS model no longer supported by Tektronix( practically all TDS models you see listing on EBAY aren't supported) you need to buy two. One to use and one for spare parts! For auction. Two channels Tektronix TDS 380 400 MHz- 2 GS/s Oscilloscope with two P6114B Probes and front cover. This instrument would be a great addition of for a student or advanced amateur's lab. Was sitting in my Bench without being used for several years but still works OK and passed its Self-Diagnostic test. There is a print copy(Not original) of the Service Manual that will be sent with the item. However, I will also include a soft copy of the User Manual, Program Manual, Schematics, Menu Map, Service Manual and the P6114B probe User Manual. It is in great shape although there are minor cosmetic details on one of the sides. There is a picture that shows them.
