Used unit in good physical and electrical condition. We have checked this unit out and it seems to be in good operating condition. The B +/ trigger switch does operate. But the shaft seems to be loose inside the unit. Also, in the A INTEN sweep mode the A trace seems to stop at the end of the B trace, not a big deal but think it should continue to the end of the screen(see next to last photo) The last photo is the B timebase ALT function(which looks like it works fine) Screen is nice and bright with good focus and no burns. It is faded and may not be fully visible in the Ebay pictures) There is no"burn" on the CRT, it is crisp and clear. The rear panel is fully intact as are the front panel latches. The case plastic is bright and clean with no aging or discoloration spots. All controls operate correctly. We did a full functional testing. We paid particular attention to the calibration of the vertical and horizontal amps which are fully calibrated. We do in-house calibrations with a Fluke 5100B calibrator and Tek time mark generator. This sale is for a Hitachi V-212 Dual Channel Oscilloscope. This oscilloscope is in good cosmetic condition. It shows moderate signs of wear from normal use, except the shaft on the small red Volts/Div. knobs on both the Channel 1& 2 sides are slightly bent, but this does not effect the operation of the knobs functions, there are no other no outstanding physical flaws to speak of. The unit powers up and displays both trace lines but I do not have the equipment to calibrate or test it any further. The unit comes with power cord only, no probes or manual. CompuScope 14100 uses two monolithic sub-ranging A/D converters. Each running at 50 MS/s, to provide a dual-channel simultaneous real‑time sampling rate of 50 MS/s. In the single-channel mode the two ADCs are clocked in a“ping-pong” mode to achieve up to 100 MS/s sampling. An on-board crystal-controlled timing circuit ensures timebase accuracy and long-term thermal stability.
