Used unit in good physical and electrical condition. We have checked this unit out and it seems to be in good operating condition. The B +/ trigger switch does operate. But the shaft seems to be loose inside the unit. All of the front locks for the lid are in place and intact and the lid can be securely locked while it is closed. The trace is crisp and bright and the CRT and LCD are both clear and have no burn marks. Here are the few things that keep this scope from being near perfect. Vintage Tektronix 465 Oscilloscope. Unit is untested and comes as pictured. Just the unit. Front cover and storage pouch. Cover and pouch are very hard to find. I plugged it in and tested the beam finder, line popped up fine, but had to hold the button. The position knob adjusted the line smoothly. Not really sure what that means but figured I'd pass along all my knowledge. It is in good cosmetic condition showing normal wear from the years. All buttons appear complete and not damaged. This is a Hitachi model V-1065 2 channel 100MHz analog oscilloscope with probes. I am the original owner. I purchased this scope new for my personal lab in 1990 for $1695(approximately $3000 in today's dollars) As such. I considered it to be a valuable asset and I cared for it accordingly. The entire scope is very clean and has very few blemishes. It does not have a fan, so dust has not been actively sucked-through it, and it comes from a smoke-free home. Everything functions as new. The switches and knobs are very crisp and smooth. And none are flakey. Scratchy, intermittent, or otherwise erratic. The screen is exceptionally sharp and clear with no burn-in. TAS465 was Tek's 100MHz portable analog scope successor to 465/B(465& 465B did not have cursers and very few offered tv sync) And 2245/A. It cost $2000 new circa 1994, but you can now get it for a tiny fraction, working correctly. It is lightweight(8Kg, ideal for field service) Operating instructions can be copied from Tek's website. I will provide power cord. Unit can operate on 115 or 230Vac. First photo shows a 1MHz fast rise square wave expanded to scope's max sweep speed of 2nS/cm to show risetime of about 3nS. Tektronix 465 oscilloscope in very good condition. Clean sharp trace, best i can tell it responds accurately to voltage changes. Last calibrated in 2001. DM44 seems accurate as well in voltage changes and temperature readings. Extras included are everything seen, 2 10x HP probes, 1 Textronix 1X/10X probe, mini grabber leads, test leads for dm44 as well as temp probe. bnc cables and various connectors. Everything that you see. I don't know enough to test further but best i can tell it is in very good condition, i have the manual on disc that i will send with the unit.
