JDSU VA4 Optical Attenuator
This is a great little optical attenuator made by JDS. It is the VA4 series and is calibrated to 1310 and 1550 nm wavelengths. I tested it at 1550 with a known calibrated detector& laser and it was spot on. One of the nice features of this device is that they hold the same attenuation even with the unit turned off. The connectors on the back are FC/UPC- flat polished. Please ignore the fact that I have green covers on them. They are flat polished. The back panel is removable in case you wish to re-polish the connectors. I guarantee this to work when you receive it or your money back for 1 month after purchase.
