Model# CL 370 RD/Serial# 41485K. 1HP/1PH/120V with new 12/3 power cord. Rare 4.5 foot bed. Comes with tapering jig(unsure if all parts are there) and 5" three jaw South Bend chuck. Please note. The pictures of the tail stock do not show the binding lever but I DO have the parts for the binding lever. BRAND NEW for South Bend. Came from a university metal shop and saw little use because they ran mostly CNC equipment. I do not use metal lathes myself but have gone through all the adjustments and speeds and everything seems to work as needed. Anyone may email to set up a visit to inspect for yourself. Goodell Pratt Bench Top Lathe Here's a antique table or bench top metal lathe made by the Goodell Pratt Company of Greenfield Mass This is the Toolsmiths model No 125 lathe with the No 132 slide rest. The Goodell-Pratt Company was a large manufacturer of carpenters' and machinists' tools. The disappeared from the hardware scene when it was merged with the Millers Falls Company in 1931. Their biggest seller was hand tools but they also built these bench top lathes in a few different sizes. This still has the original three jaw chuck that is marked Goodell Pratt. From what I can see the only thing I think that was ever changed was the pulley. It has a v belt insted of a stepped pulley. Measures 25" long by 11 1/2" tall CONDITION: Very nice. no damage. Nice Austrian made Unimat 3 lathe. I purchased this many years ago from a model maker who retrofitted it with a unimat variable speed motor and mounted it to a 1" thick aluminum plate. I built the cabinet for it and added the dial indicators and changed the original handwheels. The originals handles are included and can easily be mounted back on. The motor can be quickly changed to work in the vertical drill. I have used this lathe very little and it is in very good shape. The original thread formers were wrapped in oil paper and remain in very nice shape with little if any use. The following tooling is included: Hand tool rest. This barfeeder doesn't appear to be used very much. We got it apart from the machine it was originally hooked up to and I don't know what it was. I'm a Machinery Dealer. Thus we have not used it at all since aquiring it as part of a package deal. Since I've known the former owner for 15 yrs. he doesn't have any broke down machinery. The only reason I got it is because they needed the floor space and a robot replaced it.

This is a very old Rivett Model 608 machine lathe. The serial number on this machine is 170. I believe this to date about 1900. This entire unit was"rescued" from being tossed to the trash truck from the belongings of a late friend. It has some surface rust but is in good condition with all parts freely movable. Everything appears to be in good working order. There is very little wear evident on this machine. There is no electric motor on this unit. The stand that is pictured comes with it. Unknown what the original use of the stand was but it fits this lathe well. As you can see in the pictures the stand is very old also. All of the pictured attachments are included. This is an extremely heavy item. I live in south eastern West Virginia, about 5 miles from exit#161 of Interstate I-64. You can pick this item up yourself. Rare Watchmakers lathe indexer, Boley ,Levin, American Watch Co.???
Here we have a very rare Watchmaker’s lathe indexing headstock with 4 original indexing plates. It is not marked except with a patent date of“ Dec. 14.1875“ It takes 8mm collets and has a very ingenious swing out worm gear assembly which disengages the indexing system from the headstock. Also included is another matching headstock mounted with a faceplate and the original 3 clamping fixtures. Both headstocks fit the profile of the bed perfectly; the bed itself is marked America Watch tool. The plating on the bed is different than the texture of the two headstocks so I am not certain they originally went together. The nickel plating on both headstocks is fair, but the bearings and the all the indexing components function silky smooth. Also included is a tailstock, which again, matches the plating of the two headstocks and I believe is from ... morethe same manufacturer. It is missing the barrel that fits into the hole of the tailstock but the screw and hand wheel are intact and a barrel could be quite easily be made with whatever taper you may choose. I don’t believe I have ever seen one of these accessories come up on Ebay. When There is not Enough Material to Make Another Part. The Autobar 400 will Pick up a New Bar Off the Tray and Prepare to Load it the Next Time the Chuck or Collet Opens. The Lathe will be Stopped While this New Bar is Being Loaded, and Restarted(without the Operator's Assistance) When the Bar is in Position. Loading the New Bar will Push the Remnant from the Last Bar Out into the Chips.
