The person I got these from stated they came out of an old church in Connecticut in the 60s during a renovation and have been stored for 50 years! The measurements are as follows. Your chance to own these rare panels. They have typical minor dings and scratches for items this old. They could use some cleaning as can be seen in pictures. They can be shipped. All of them are 5 1/8" to 5 3/8" wide, and vary in length from 1' to 8' GRAIN: All of these boards have straight narrow grain on their faces but may have end grain skewed from 90 degrees. Salvaged from an older high end kitchen renovation. These corbels are much more detailed and beautiful than the ones sold today. The carvings are deeper and bolder and they are made of a very hard wood(maple? They are quite sizable and would be great for shelves, accents or for kitchen island work. They are stained(color washed) and have a white glaze in the details. They are in general good condition but you could also paint them if you want. Reclaimed Heart Pine Beams. This is for one beam that measures 15" X 15" X 15' long. This beam has 281 board feet. We have several different sizes available. We've been reclaiming building materials for several years and this is the finest wood we've had in these large sizes. This material came from a 5 floor commercial building in; Cario. IL. The building was built around 1888. No one knows for sure. The wood is now in Hattiesburg. MS. You could do several different things with the beams. Such as sand blasting, plane. Bodark ( Hedge Apple, Osage Orange Tree ) Log
Up for bid's is a nice Bodark( Bois de Arc)log with some beautiful wood in it. It is also known as a Hedge Apple or Osage Orange tree. It was cut several years ago and never used. It has some cracking on the ends where the cuts were made and a few other surface cracks. But there is good wood through out the entire log. It also had the outside bark scorched on the bottom( i burnt the brush around tree before cutting) but it didn't hurt the tree at all. The log is 9 ft. 3" in length. On the trunk end it is 2 ft. in diameter. The other end's diameter is 13" with a branch diameter of 9" It has a partial cut( see pic) 19" from the top on this end that was made by a friend that wanted a piece for a project, but gave up after dulling his saw. If you have ever worked with this wood, then you know how hard and almost ... moreindestructible it is. There is plenty of great wood here for a wide variety projects large or small.

This is going to make some beautiful furniture at the hands of the right craftsman. This lumber has spent its life stacked inside and has no nail holes except for a few that were toenailed at the very ends.
