Here is a nice MSA hard hat with the Fas-Trac system. As you can see. The fas-trac has some cracks on the plastic forehead rest. The rest of the system seems in nice working order. In picture 7, I show you the only damage I could find. It's a little nick in the edge. You will want to give this helmet a nice cleaning as it is a little dirty on the inside. The patina on this helmet is exactly what you want to see on one of these that went through the war in the old Bethlehem mills. I am guessing that the helmet probably dates to the mid-1970's based on the sticker on the outside. Could use a good cleaning. Particularly on the inside. A Mr. Clean Magic Eraser would do wonders. This is a vintage 1986 hard hat from U.S. Steel's Mon Valley Works. Made by local favorite MSA. It is the V-Guard model, size medium. This doesn't look like it spent much time in the mill as there are only a couple of light scuffs to the shell. The emblem has some creases from when it was applied. The foam on the interior is deteriorating and flaking a bit, as to be expected from 28 year old material. Offered as-shown without reserve, this Mon Valley Works hard hat ships via Parcel Select.

Vintage MSA "BOSSES Skullguard Fiberglass Construction Hat,Cap Adjustable Liner
You are bidding on one Vintage MSA skullguard hard hat or construction cap. The cap is made of fiberglass and has wonderful rich brown stripping on the inside of cap. The cap comes with original adjustable liner which has some sweatband tearing as you can see by the pics. I believe the helmet was painted at time of manufacturing. There is some scuffing to outside painted area. The cap is solid and has no cracking.Chips or nicks on the outer edge of cap. A nice find if you have been looking for this style hat. If this hat could talk. Im sure it could tell some interesting stories. This is a vintage MSA Fiberglass hard hat with a MSA Fast Trac II suspension. It is well used, but still solid and the band and suspension looks in good shape. There is some wear on each front corner of the brim on the underside of the hat( as you can see in pics) Many interesting stickers. Looks like the owner was a hard working iron worker union man. This would make a great decor conversation piece, or could still be taken on a union construction job and you will look like a"seasoned" veteran. Thanks for looking, no returns on this item.

This is a nice Vintage MSA SKULLGARD FULL BRIM FIBERGLASS HARD HAT. It has been used. Outside is in Really Good shape. Only regular light handling marks. Top does have a Round faded spot on it almost the size of the Top of the dome shape. Still nice and solid. Inside is in Good shape. Still has the Original Sticker in it.
