One used GAXT M BW GAS ALERT Carbon Monoxide. This model has a replaceable battery. And is serviceable. Not the throwaway kind that has a timer. I have tested the unit by holding it over a candle. A known emitter of carbon monoxide, and it detects it. I have bump tested it along side one of my new ones near the ambulance exhaust. They both show numbers within range of one another and both sounded alarms when the level of CO past the pre set alarm level, at around the same time. unit has not been"calibrated" but the bump test shows it works. Calibration can be done by yourself if you have the can of Carbon monoxide. Regulator, and tube. Full instructions can be found online by googling this model. There is some writing on it.
