A right plastic side, a metal ring, and the black plastic ball that scres on top. It is not unusual for the handle sides to fatigue over time, for someone to pull too hard and break the handle, or for the handle to be dropped and broken during cleaning. What breaks are the plastic side pieces, but you usually still have a good metal ring and the black plastic ball. With this purchase you will receive only the left and right plastic handle pieces- you must have the black knob and metal ring to make a complete handle. You can puchase an entire new handle, but if you have the ring and knob you will save yourself a bit of cash by purchasing this kit instead. To replace the broken sides unscrew the remaining broken pieces from the black ball. Remove the metal ring, put the two new pieces together and place your metal ring over the new side pieces, then screw on your black plastic ball. You're ready to go in a couple of minutes, saving about ten dollars over a complete new handle. Each purchase includes one left side piece and one right side piece for a white CDS faucet handle- again, you must supply the metal ring and black plastic ball to have a complete handle. The technically correct way to install these handles is to disassemble them(unscrew the ball. Remove the metal ring, separate the halves) then reassemble the parts around the dowel pin. Make sure to check the label on your compressor to ensure you are ordering the correct part- there have been three different compressor types used in the Ultra-2 to date. A relay is a switch- this type of relay uses a low power signal to activate a magnetic coil that pulls a second set of higher-power electrical contacts together. Essentially this allows the main control board(computer) of the Ultra-2 machine to send a low power start signal to the compressor and the relay to send higher power to the starting capacitor and compressor motor. It is designed to protect the electronics in the drawer from shorting out when product is spilled into the drawer. Of course. Nobody ever adds product, dispenses product, or checks product with the control drawer open, so no need for this item- right? While we all should keep the drawer closed, in reality every one of us has sloshed product around with the drawer open. For a few bucks you can add this protector and prevent having to replace switches and control boards the next time product is accidentally sloshed/spilled/dripped into the control drawer. It is made of silicone. Has indentations for all the switches and knobs, and a metal piece that holds the cover in place. This works only on the CDS-2(two hoppers) not the CDS-3. Before the CDS-2 machine became obsolete and this part became unavailable. This item retailed for $12.50 plus shipping, but not at Margarita Guys!
