This unit seems to work but I am only able to test it to 50 MHz as that is my highest frequency signal source so I can't guarantee it to be working elsewhere. The manual says it will work from either the AC/DC Adapter(which is part of this sale and shown in the photos) or internal rechargeable C-sized batteries but these are not included(none installed in internal battery holder) It is easy to find the manual online just google it. Racal-Dana 1.3GHz Universal Counter This is a super-accurate counter in very good working and cosmetic condition. This counter has the coveted 04E(ultra-high stability) oven-oscillator timebase. I calibrated it within the last year against a Trimble Thunderbolt GPS disciplined reference. It is shown in the picture counting the output of a cheap(non-oven) 10MHz signal generator(which was surprisingly accurate to within 4Hz! But the counter itself is accurate well below 1Hz. Fluke 7220A 1.3 GHz Frequency Counter Powers On Untested
Picked this up at a local estate sale and really know nothing about it. Here is what I can tell you. I am unable to test it for its intended use but I can tell you have powers on fine. It will need a detailed cleaning as it is rather dusty. There is a power cord included however it is not the original one for it but seems to function perfectly. There is one small knob that seems to have some damage however in researching this I did not see this piece on other models? At any rate I tried to highlighted in the last picture so please examine it closely. No leads or anything of that nature included with the exception of the power cord. Really don't know what else I can tell you but questions are welcome.

Cannot speak to it's calibration accuracy as it has not been recently calibrated(nor has the signal generator we used to test it to 2.7 GHz) Has a small impact fracture in the red display filter. Over the least significant digits(does not significantly effect readability) Remarkably clean and in good shape for it's age. Has served us well for our 2.4GHz Radio and Bluetooth development work.
