The swivel wheel is markied Bassick 461 and measures 4" x 1 1/2" and the bracket measures 4" x 5" The stationery wheel is marked Bassick MH 438 and measures the same and the bracket measures 3 1/8" x 6 1/8" Also included are all of the nuts and bolts that were used with these caster wheels. These wheels could be used for vaults. Safes, or other industrial types of carts. The treads are hard white plastic. Scuff free and designed for a smooth ride. The wheel mounting holes are approx. to the 1/16" 3/8" round and 3 3/4" on center on one side, and 2 1/4" on center on the other side. They were made by The G.P. Clark Co. Windsor Locks, Conn. U.S.A. and appear to be unused. They weigh 3 pounds each and have 3 separate markings on them. The first marking is stamped on the wheel wall along with G.P. Clark Co. It is the number 3-12. The second marking is stamped at the base of the wheel caster, it is the number 0212. Vintage Set 4 Heavy Duty Industrial Bassick 6" Cast Iron Casters Swivel Plate
Here is a great set of industrial. Very heavy duty application, cast iron casters. The wheels themselves are cast iron, 6" in diameter, and 2" wide. They are each mounted on a swivel plate, the plate measures 5 1/2" x 5" Each caster stands about 7 1/2" in height. I can see Bassick 6 on each caster, and it also looks like the number 8261 is imprinted on the wheels. These casters are definitely for a heavy duty application. Each caster weighs 11 lbs. As can be seen in the pictures, there are scratches in the gold finish on each caster, all in the same places, but this, in no ways, impacts the function of these casters. There is also a bit of rust in some areas, but once again there is no impact on performance. All of the casters move freely on the attached swivel plates. These four casters swivel freely. The casters frames are 1 inch and the wheels are 1 1/4 in diameter. The mounting plates measure 1 3/4" x 1 1/4" One of the casters has rust over about 10% of the plate and frame. Zoom in on caster on right side of photo. It still functions properly.

This is a nice old set of caster wheels. The wheels are all cast iron and the frame is a very heavy metal. They all match. They are marked Fairbanks. There are no cracks or chips. We have cleaned most of the grease and grime from this set. But they still need a little rust removed. Each caster weighs approx. 2 pounds. They all swivel and roll smooth. The base has ball bearings and the wheel has a hole made for oiling. They measure approx. 3 1/2 inches tall. The wheel measures approx. 1 1/4 inch wide and approx. 2 7/8 inches across. The mounting plate measures approx. 3 inches by 4 1/8 inches. This is a very nice heavy duty set. Guaranteed to be old and original. Satisfaction guaranteed.
