2013 Liberty Backhoe Attachment, BHM 225, Excellent with EXTRAS
I bought this a week ago from out of state. And it's just too much for my tractor to handle. The previous owner claimed that it was only used twice, and it definitely appears to be the truth. This backhoe sells for $5995 new, and this one is about as close to new as you can get. Plus it has a mechanical thumb, two buckets(18" and 10" an extra swing cylinder and an extra main valve. I was able to hook it up and run it with my Kubota L3130, which is 31 HP, but it wouldn't lift off the ground far enough to be practical. Everything works perfectly and I didn't observe any leaks or other issues while testing it out. The recommended HP range is 40-50 HP, and I should have listened to the manufacturer. I just used it a few weeks ago and unfortunately blew one of the hydraulic hoses(just a normal flexible hose, not a metal line) and I decided that rather than fix it I would just sell it and let the new owner take care of it. If I remember the manual correctly the 762H is a 7.5 foot dig depth machine. It comes with the PTO pump and oil reservoir and everything you need to attach it to your 3 point. It is currently on a Farmall H with a category II 3-point hitch. Over the years I have also had this on a John Deere 2020 and an International 2544. I have a photocopy of the manual somewhere- if I can find it I will include it- otherwise you can find it online as well. Other than the one blown hydraulic line and the loose seat cushion the only thing I have ever noticed is that after it sits unused for a week or so the downriggers start to settle so I assume one of them has a tiny air leak or something- it has no effect when you are using it and it doesn't leak fluid when you are using them either so I never worried about it. This model also has a skid-loader connector available for it so you can remove the 3-point brackets and put on a skid loader bracket(it shows this in the owner's manual. Used HB 20 Skid Steer Backhoe attachment (read listing closely)
I am selling a used backhoe in need of welding repair. I posted photos of a new unit because the quality of my photos is so poor. I suggest you type in this model on ebay and research the specs from the original manufacturer. The parts in need of repair are the loops that attach to the skid steer seen on the bottom of the unit in the photos from the manufacturer. In my photos the broken portions are shown on top because the unit is up side down. Mine also needs one hose. Mine has larger bucket than the stock model. When I purchased this unit I was skeptical about how well it would work. It worked amazingly well. Actually too well. Because I was digging trenches with very large boulders in them. The unit would grab them but were too big to pull out of the ground so instead it would literally lift my whole skid steer(a Bobcat 853 which is a ... morevery heavy machine) up in the air. Eventually, this put too much strain on the connecting loops and they broke. I would have it fixed myself but I no longer have my Bobcat.
