Nice Working Vintage Single Stage Air compressor Pump Wagner Motor Steampunk
Vintage Air Compressor with Wagner Motor 1/4 HP Motor plug is for 110V. but can run 220V. On stand measures. 25" tall. 23" long. 14" wide. Drive wheel has been braze repaired. Pic 5. Has a custom built 3 wheeled wagon for easy moving around. Belt is old and dry. but still works. Probably wise to replace the belt soon. Cast iron pump has some markings but I can't tell the manufacturer. pics 6 and 9. Pics show condition. Still works fine. I just upgraded to a new one for some large sandblasting projects. Working, Steampunk Product Details: Antique 2- Piston Air Compressor Pump I don't know what sort of pump this is. It has two independent 2-stroke pistons that seem to suck air on one stroke. And expel air on the next, creating little puffs of air. That's my impression. Attached to each piston is a rubber hose, each with a tee and two more branching rubber hoses cut off at the ends. The hoses of one piston don't interact with the hoses of the other. The nature of the crank ... moreshaft arrangement driving the pistons is that when one is on the down stroke, the other is on the up stroke, so I imagine a clever person can create a constant stream of air between the two pistons somehow. The nature of the branching hoses had me thinking air distribution to a variety of destinations. I tried sticking one end in a cup of water to see if it crated bubbles. And nothing happened until I plugged the other end of the tee and then big bubbles were created, but also water was sucked in up as far as the piston, so I don't think this is an aquarium pump. I also don't think it is for distributing water since there is no inlet. So if you have a sense of what it is for, I would like to hear from you. The motor is a 1/4 HP Sears Ever Ready Motor. It is missing the electrical connection cover and has a simple cord and plug attached. The top of the pistons are open and the lube is there for all to see when the pump is running. It has a somewhat primitive look to it. Kind of Steampunk in my opinion. It's at least an interesting decoration I think. The motor runs fine but the wooden base rattles some when it is working. Up for auction is a lightly used Le Roi Dresser H62-393 Air Compressor pump. This is a 3-cylinder pump that is driven by 3 V-belts. This pump was driven by a 40hp Hatz diesel motor and was used as a backup compressed air system in a chemical plant. Given that this was a backup unit. This compressor saw very little usage before it was removed when the chemical plant was updated. This is a REALLY BIG pump, to give you an idea of size, the air tank that it filled was approx 10' diameter and 15' tall! I was part of the demo team, and I removed this pump at that time. The pump was working perfectly at that time. I also have the original 40hp Hatz diesel motor. This pump has been in my barn in storage for over a decade. Quincy QRDS-20 single stage oilless 20 HP air compressor with motor and base
Quincy QRDS-20 single stage 20 HP oilless air compressor from medical air system. Original system system model was QRD20SBN00011. The bare shaft compressor was replaced with a new unit in 2010. Estimated run time 2000 to 2500 hours. Normal life is 25,000 hours or more, so this compressor should give good service for a long time. System includes motor, base, drive sheaves, belts, belt guard, aftercooler, head temperature safeties, outlet check valve, and unloader valve. The compressor pumped a 240 gallon tank from zero to 100 PSI in 3 minutes, 20 seconds which calculates to an average pumping speed of 67 CFM. This is consistent with it's rated displacement. Will sell complete system, compressor with flywheel, or bare shaft compressor. Can supply head unloaders and possibly a motor starter panel if needed. Good for any oil free air need.
