Alnor Velometer 6006-P As I can not test fully. This unit is being sold as is with no returns. Everything including the meter, case, and adaptors seem to be in good shape. I did hook up an adaptor and lightly blew across the tube as told. The meter did move freely and seems to work fine, but that is all the testing I did. I am helping my aunt clean out her basement. I know my uncle used to work with electronic equipment years ago, and this was one of the things he used. Please scroll down take a look. 4.25" diameter. 1.75" deep. The gauge housing is made on a non magnetic type metal, possibly a painted aluminum. The painted finish is blotchy/discolored throughout with several areas of total paint loss. The dial and crystal is approximately 1.75" diameter. It has a white dusty residue between the dial and crystal. The outer surface of the crystal has a crude looking rippled/uneven surface and several small indentations. The chronograph type dial will read/provide velocity ... morein feet. Thousands, hundreds, and tenths. The thousands reading/dial will not reset to zero, so this aspect of the gauge may not be working correctly. The entire gauge has a heavy dark patina. Sure seems vintage to me but not sure of actual age; I am guessing from the way it is made(I remember hosing like this on vintage hospital equipment dating from before WWII) the use, and the fact that Army and Air Force are one body, that this dates from WWII or before. Is marked as being property of US Army/ Air Force on plate on cover of the heavy metal box. Inside has meter, approx 7 ft. of flexible brown tubing, and instructions in use. Looks like this was used to check the operation of oxygen regulators permaently installed in aircraft. Condition and size: Good condition overall. Instruction paper has age tanning, box has rust on the identification patch, some fading and wear to paint of box. Otherwise pretty good, looks like it could still be used.
