This auction is for a used Simpson 260 Multimeter Temperature Tester Adapter model 652. Made in the U.S.A. by the Simpson Electric Company of Chicago, Illinois. Its purpose is to provide an interface between temperature probes(thermistors) and the multimeter, providing a slide rule to convert the multimeter reading into degrees Fahrenheit. The adapter slips into the multimeter plug sockets and is locked into place with a clip at the back. Only the adapter is included in this auction, and a battery is not included.
