Up for auction is a really cool vintage Government issue forestry flashlight/headlamp. The part that holds the batteries measures about 5 1/2" long and 2 7/8" wide. The front section of the holder is marked U.S. GOVERNMENT FORESTER NO. 6X1600 WEST. FIRE EQUIP CO. SAN FRANCISCO USA JUSTRITE. The container has lost quite a bit of its original red paint and is obviously well used. It holds 4 D cell batteries and 4 new ones are included. The light works just fine. The 2 3/4" diameter light has a bracket attached and is in very good condition. It has an"on off" toggle switch. The cord is in excellent condition and is right at 4 feet long. Age of battery unknown so figure on possibly needing one in the near future. Tires fair, paint fair. Runs good, will run better with fresh fuel. Brooks Patent No. 1956852 Below is a link to the patent that George Brooks filed in 1933. They are certainly used but all the pieces seem to be there. The leather padded shin guards. The leather straps and the metal buckles. The leather is aged and I would be leery using them to climb anything without making sure they are still safe to use. It looks like the iron was painted red at one time. The one upper belt looks like it has either a“06” or a“90” stamped on it. I don’t see any other markings on the item. They measure about 18 inches high and the spikes are about 3 ½ inches long. They may not be a matching ... moreset. The one is about an inch longer than the other and one has three straps to hold the shin guard in place where the other just has two. I am sure they can be brought back to life but they would also make great display pieces for that retired lineman or tree climber. Asplundh Commercial Wood Chipper 16" Ford Industrial V8 large tree land clearing
Only 1259 hours on the original working hour meter. Engine runs excellent. Drum bearings are quiet. newer blade change produces a fine chip the 16" wide opening takes hard to chip material easy. No smoke, no noises. Tires are good. Lights don't work. Generator or voltage regulator is bad so it will need a replacement part. I always use a 1 wire alternator they are under 100 bucks and work great. This is the largest Asplundh Drum chipper produced. Great for clearing where a couple guys are feeding it. Payment shall be cash when picked up. If you are sending a shipper, payment shall be bank wire transfer. And you pay for and arrange the shipping. This item is a vintage rake made of bronze(non-sparking) used to rake out gun powder at one of the former DuPont mills in Delaware. It is well used. Having been a tool at a factory. I bought it from a grand kid if a former employee. Very unusual piece. The rake is 14 inches long and each tine is 3 inches long.

42" Cant log roller handle w/ vintage hook
You are bidding on a 42" Cant log roller. Handle is unused. But has been shed kept for around 15 yrs. Hook is used. But in very good condition, besides the surface rust. The hook is 12 inches long. Still moves, and comes with a shim to adjust fit. These two items were not bought together or did not come together. So some adjustments will have to be made for a perfect fit. Maybe remove the metal shim out of the hole on the hook assembly or shorten the bottom of the handle. Paypal is expected ASAP at the end of auction. Good Luck!

Stamped on front“F S” Forest Service? located above“AF&H CO” with a letter“O” located to the left. It is 4 feet tall. The metal portion of the shovel is 19”L. I believe the paint was added after purchase by original owner. Wood is split lower portion between the two metal parts of shovel handle.
