Is passed all test ok and screen and everything else seems to work fine but i cant test it 100 w/out the probes and it is sold as is. M14/15/19 Era Teletype perforator/reperforator baudot tape winder
For Auction is an electric Teletype Tape winder which operates at 20 RPM. It is large and set-up I think for the large M14 tape reels. Given you adapt the reel mounting cores. It should accomodate most TTY tape reels in use. This is an aging unit and should be checked for lubrication and safe wiring prior to placing back in service. This unit came out of a US Air Force Communications shop using baudot tape. It may have been part of a larger machine; it may have just been used in the shop for general purpose winding. 20 RPM is roughly one revolution every 3 seconds. For auction is a Teletype Corp baudot test tape configured as a ten foot(10' continuous loop. Tape has been mended as you would expect from it's endless loop configuration. The tape material is a stiffer material than normal punch tape. Almost a light card stock. It is brown in color and chad-less. You will not be dissatisfied. If you are already set up on tape, use this to clone duplicates out of regular punch tape for future use. Item will be packed in an Altoids mint tin and mailed in a small padded envelope.
