Up for auction. Is a vintage Department of Agriculture Forest Service Suede Leather Apron. It has the Forest Service Logo stamped on the front. The lettering on the Forest Service wording is partially missing. But you can see part of it. The wording for the Department of Agriculture is complete. I am not sure as to the use of this apron. Possibly tree trimming, blacksmith work or welding. It seems to be a scarce item. As I have not been able to find any information about it. It measures 30" long. And 20" wide. Vintage "True Temper" Montana Pulaski Fire Tool - USA
This old Pulaski is somewhat rare. As the ones we have seen are larger. It is 12 1/2" long, the hoe is 3" wide and axe is 2 1/4" high. The handle appears to be original with red paint on the tool. It is 35 1/2" long and weighs 4 lbs. 11 oz. with the handle. We can only surmise that if one was fighting fires with the tool, it could be used in a heavy brush fire with not as much weight and less chance of having the tool get tangled up in the brush.

Here is a chance to get one of these at a discount- you do not see used ones for sell but I don't burn wood anymore and do not need this. It is for a Rear Mounted PTO Auger with a 2" diameter mounting shaft. I ran it on a 30 HP Diesel Tractor with good results. It is in good working condition and the tip is sharp(you can get replacement tips for it) I used it the year before last but not last year and that is where the surface rust came from. It should slick off the first time you use it. It has use dings in the upper cone but not in the lower screw section. the dings do not effect it's performance. I had to trim the mounting tube to get the mounting bolt holes to line up on my auger. You can see the saw blade marks on the end of the tube. The up side is I saved you the trouble if you have the same type auger and it is not going ... moreto effect it if you don't need to trim it. You will need to buy High Strength mounting bolts and lock nuts to install it- I got mine at the local Tractor Supply- they are just standard high strength bolts. Woodsman Extreme 12x wood brush chipper
Up for sale is my personal machine. A Woodsman 12x wood chipper. Powered by a John Deere 4.5 Liter turbo diesel making 140hp. Hour Meter shows 654 Hours but was changed when original meter read 1800 hours. So chipper has about 2400 hours on it now. Runs perfect and does not use any oil. I purchased this machine when it had only 74 hours on it. Since then it has only been used by me. The Woodsman chipper is superior to any other machine in its class. By far. Considered a 12' chipper, it actually shames all other 12 inch chippers. This is because of its design and simplicity. Reversing auto feed system stops feeding branch and backs it up a couple inches to let engine recover rpms before continuing to feed. I have a video on youtube of us feeding a huge Elm branch into the chipper. Search for"Woodsman 12x Extreme" by racnruss. ... moreThroat opening is 13"x25" Most 12" chippers have a throat that is 12x12" or 12x17" Check out the photos. It will actually take 2 12" logs at the same time! This translates into much less cutting of crotches to get limbs to fit through the chipper. It will take a much wider crotch without cutting. Plus, the feed roller has Lift and Crush hydraulics to compact brush and pack it through to the knives. The feed roller has not one but TWO hydraulic motors powering it. One on each side-direct drive motors. No linkage to wear out or need adjusted or greased. No bottom feed roller! It doesn't need it with the huge top roller with two motors. That means less moving parts and no bottom roller to get jammed all the time and dribble stuff out onto the ground that you have to shovel up at every job! I owned a Bandit chipper before and absolutely hated that. This machine has a winch to pull heavy branches up to the chipper. I consider it to be priceless. But.
