North Atlantic Instruments Transmagnetics 5410C-62 VXI VME Board For sale- a North Atlantic Instruments Transmagnetics Division Model 5410C-62 VXI VME Board. Actually the board itself shows it as a 5410C-62-1 if that makes any difference(one of the five is slightly different. That one says 62-41 Rev.B) The only site that I can find with much in the way of information about Transmagnetics boards is here. Although they don’t have exactly the same 5410C models listed. They are variously listed as Synchro/Resolver boards or LVDT/RVDT boards. I have no idea which of those terms. If either, applies to what I am selling here. The back panel of the Elma VME rack that they are mounted in has a connection labeled Synchro Output and five connections labeled LVDT. So chances are it is related to one or the other or both. I have included both in the title ... moresimply for search reasons. However, I make no guarantee that either is applicable. You will need to do your own homework relative to the application of the board. As I have no documentation, and nothing other than the board is included in the sale. The boards listed on the linked site they are asking $5K a pop for. So they must be something special. I have no idea if that is a realistic price or not. But I am only asking 20% of that. I have five available to start with. And as I have no way to test them I will offer the option of returning them for refund or exchange( my option) within seven days of receipt. So if you send one back chances are you will get another just like it in return. The return privilege is not intended to cover buyer’s remorse or experimental applications that don’t work as planned. Tektronix TVS641 Waveform Analyzer For sale- a Tektronix TVS641 Waveform Analyzer. This is a VXI plug-in I am pretty sure. I have a couple of HP VXI racks so I can make sure that is the case. But unfortunately neither of the racks has a power supply at this point. So I cannot test the unit even to see if it powers up and I have no information from the source that might shed any light on its working condition. Again. It is completely untested. If you pay the asking price and find it has a problem you cannot live with within seven days of receipt you may return it. Returns are ONLY allowed on Buy It Now Purchases. I think the cheapest one of these I saw priced out online was $7K. Given that I ... moream only asking about 60% of that to start I think my Buy It Now price is very fair. But I would budget for some repairs and then hopefully be pleasantly surprised if it doesn’t need any. I am guessing that you should be able to send it back to Tektronix and have it calibrated and repaired(if necessary) and still have money in your pocket compared to the one at $7K. Physical condition is fair. Probably the worst thing you can say about it is that the upper left corner has taken a bit of a hit and is bent back some, and the little gizmo that mounts there to help remove it from the VXI rack is missing. I can’t see that being much of an issue unless you need to be installing and removing the plug-in on a regular basis. I will let you straighten out the bent part which is visible in the second picture. Please check out my for more interesting lab.
