I have a used Northstar gas air compressor that I'm selling due to lack of use. It starts right up and runs great. Output on this particular compressor is 27.4 cfm at 90 psi tank assisted and 26.4 cfm at 90 psi continuous. I just replaced the air filter. Changed the oil in both the gas motor and the compressor, the motor has a brand new muffler; I also put casters under it so I could move it around in my garage. Produces about 36 CFM with a 10 HP motor. Can produce about 55 CFM with a 15 HP motor. 120 gallon grasshopper style tank rated at 200 PSI. Has all items required to run, including outlet check, relief, and aftercooler, unload valve, tank relief, pressure switch, hour meter, automatic drain valve, and NEMA Size 2 motor starter(much oversized) Currently set up to pump up to about 118 PSI, then unload until pressure drops to 115 PSI. Will shut off at about 122 PSI, restart around 110 PSI. Motor starter is mounted in an enclosure and wired to the motor and pressure switch. This is a used compressor head. I squired it at Ana auction with an assortment of other tools. It can be wired for 110 or 220vac. It is currently wired for 110vac so that I could plug it in and test it. When plugged in it seemed to work fine. Pushed air, and the motor sounded fine. It has a GE motor. Model is SPL 5LCA-10-M550X. This model was replaced with M550NX, but both are identical. What you see in the pics is what you will get. I have a print out of wiring diagram and specs because the tag on motor is worn. You can turn pulley on compressor and feel reed valves pushing and pulling on end of hose. We decided to get belt and try. It does run and makes air. I ran for a few minutes. But did not want to run to long because I had laid on side and oil had run out and I was not sure how much was left in compressor. It is driven by a 1/4 horse Sunlight Motors, Model 7067, Packard Electric Division(as seen in picture#5) It is 115 Volts, 60 Cycles, 5 Amps. RPM 1750. Serial# on Motor Tag C3 47. Design PAT. Number on Compressor is 113427. This is believed to be all original and is quite heavy at 44 1/2 lbs. Base is approx. 20 1/2" long x approx. 8" wide x approx. 11 1/2" high to top of hose connector on top ... moreof compressor. Well I guess she reminded me that I had to get belt so I guess it is all original except for belt. We have seen 2 others similar to this. They were saying 1940's.
