This is a meter apparently made by Loral. It has two scales. One of which goes from 50-500 preceded by"X 1" and"X 10" and the other goes from 100-1000 preceded by"X 2" The notation on the meter says Pulse Rate Frequency MR26B200DCUA and HM2 and near the bottom of the dial- LORAL#43-1001-1-B and REV. 3 and 110 degrees(110 degrees of rotation is how much the needle moves going from the"0" mark to the highest number on the scale) The maximum diameter of the meter(the front flange where the mounting holes are) is 2.7 inches. The maximum depth is ~ 1.8 inches. It appears to be in pretty good condition except for some age discoloration of the outer edge of the glass. And the beginning of some mild rust. Testing high voltage circuits for leakage is too often a"hit or miss" operation unless you have a genuine load and feedback test metered device. Watching for pale blue sparks in a darkened environment is a time-tested method. Probing about with a grounded ice pick sort of tool is another. I've even known some fellows who don't seem bothered much by getting zapped with low amperage high voltage run their hand over secondary ignition leads to see if they have any leaks. But for factory authorized small engine shops. A genuine"Hi-Po" or High Potential electrical loading and testing device is considered more professional. Even though it may be less exciting. This can work on any brand of equipment. But it was sold through Toro's dealer equipment supply channel. Very nice piece to own and will retain its value for ... moremany years unless someone who should not be allowed in your shop gets hold of it. So I'll start it at a low but fair non-give-away starting bid. But way lower than its cost. Not everyone needs one of these. But for those who do and have decided to go independent rather than continue working for a dealer who has a properly outfitted shop. This would be an excellent shop addition that will make money for them and speed up finding high-voltage problems. I know this does not appear as though it would weigh much. But its high-voltage transformer is heavy. So it weighs almost 10 pounds BEFORE packing it into a shipping box with protective material. I don't create shipper's fees.
