Vintage Japan Mache Mica Bird Band w/ Instruments Set/6 Blue Yellow White
This is an unusual and gorgeous set of 6 birds with instruments. And beaks open as if singing. These lool like chickens, but not sure, maybe roosters with the red comb on their heads. They each wear a plastic hat on their head and have spring necks surrounded by a felt collar. They also have pink foil wings that slide into a slit in their backs. most are still attached, one pair is loose, but is included. They stand on their chicken like feet in a bed of Easter grass on cardboard stands. They are all marked Japan and come in the original box. They stand between 4" and 4.5" There are some small creases and bends in their wings, The yellow bird with the drum has lost some of the mica that coated his body and some of the others have small areas where they have lost mica. Vintage 12" AT GI Joe with Life Like Hair, accessories & RARE White Gorrilla
For auction is a vintage 12 inch GI Joe with life like hair(red. Early 1970s) and accessories. Also included in a VERY rare, hard to find, very well wanted by collectors, White Gorrilla from the Adventure Team set"Capture of the Pygmy Gorrilla" Usually the gorrilla is black, the white one is rare. The GI Joe has some battle scars. But is in good condition. The hair is missing(patchy) on the front of his head, and on the lower beard. His joints are good, he has a very small stress crack on his right knee.I did not notice any stress cracks ANYWHERE else on his body. An extra right foot is included, not that he needs it, just because I had it. PLEASE LOOK AT ALL THE PICTURES. The accessories include three GI Joe Training Manuals from 1964. FM75-00 Army, NM76-00 Navy, and MM77-00 Marine. The covers are stained alittle from old age, ... morebut the pages are in really good condition for their age. The Navy manual has the rear top left corner ripped off. A Life vest with U.S.A.F. on it, a 45 pistol with holster from the 1960s, a pair of boots in good condition-no rips/ splits, a pair of swim fins-great condition, a hand heald spot light, hand granade, machine gun(later year) and a stand for the machine gun(1960s but broken) a machete sheath. You have a gray hooded top and pants, and a brownish color pants from the Adventure Team Fight for Survival set. There are some other parts I'm not sure what you call them, one is like a rardar type spiner, a fin from some kind of vehicle. But there is more. You get a 1960s army green poncho with hood. 2 pontoons from the set of Capture of the Pygmy Gorrilla, some kind of missle from a set, the top to the treasure chest from the set 8 Ropes of Danger, a Divers helmet( it is in 3 parts, not broken, it assembles and has 3 pieces) a white radio communication box, and I'm not sure what you call it, but a orange rope tag line contraction(which I understand is also rare) which is used for GI Joe to get from the ceiling of one room, to the floor in another. This listing is for an antique white ironstone wash pitcher. It is marked on the bottom"Dresden Semiporcelain" It is in wonderful condition for its age with no chips or cracks that i can find. The glaze has an overall crazing to it and there are some small areas where there are stains(see photos 4. 8 and 9" The pitcher could use a good cleaning which i will leave up to the new owner. The egg has a raised horse shoe good luck design and painted flowers and no lettering. These all make beautiful displays and even though some of the cold paint is worn they are passed down through the years. It is a very nice authentic group and not reproduction items. SNOW WHITE& THE 7 DWARFS FIGURINES MANUFACTURED BY SEIBERLING TIRE CO. SOMETIME BETWEEN 1937 TO 1940. These Disney Collectibles were given to me as a child in either 1939 or 1940 which have been under my control sense the time of the gift. These are hard rubber items and are good condition for their age. The 7 Dwarfs measure from 4 ¾” to 5 ½” approx. And Snow White measures 8” approx. You can see that there is some paint deterioration but for the most part the paint is what I would call from fair to very good. Dopey and Snow White’s paint shows the most wear but the colors on all are quite good. Doc appears to have one finger missing on his left hand and Bashful also has fingers missing on both hands. Snow White has a swivel head. Swinging arms and because she is the only hollow figurine she is showing some collapsing of her ... morefigure. Also when placing her head in a straight ahead position she will look straight down at the floor. At her age these conditions seem to be a natural process. All figurines. Except Dopey and Snow White are marked with“Walt Disney Seiberling Latex made in Akron. O USA” which shows they are the original figurines that were manufactured for Walt Disney. I have not attempted to clean or repaint because I want the purchaser to receive them in their current non-reclaimed condition. Sold as is with no returns. I have described these items to the best of my ability. But should you have any questions or need more pictures, I will be more than happy to respond.
