Cherry Blossom green 6 3/4" flat 36 oz pitcher
The pitcher is damage free and has the pattern at the top plus it shows cherries and leaves in the bottom. There are no chips.Cracks or fleabites. There is a strawmark shown in the 2nd picture. It is a surface line caused during manufacture and has no affect on the integrity of the glass. Strawmarks are very common on depression glass. Yamaha YBB-621S Silver B Flat 4 Valve Tuba
Up for auction is a used. But in really good shape YBB-621S. This model doesn't come up on Ebay very often. This was the preferred tuba of Chuck Daellenbach of the Canadian Brass for years. It's a quick and responsive 3/4 tuba. It has a couple of small dings and scratches but nothing bad but I want to mention it. There are no issues with this horn. Serial# 220xxx 22" Bell Low Pitch Offered here is a 1939 HN White King Bb Tuba made in Cleveland OH. There are some dings/dents through-out the instrument as well as some wear of the finish. I did not find any loose braces but there are signs of resoldering. All tuning slides move freely except. The water key works fine. The valves function well and have some wear- the compression is not 100% but is playable as is. This Tuba plays very well with a nice warm tone and good intonation. Anthropomorphic and zoomorphic wooden helmet masks are the most common in western Collections. They dance in pair the male and the female. The female is called Musangwe and represent a female ancestor. Symbol of fertility. The male, Kiyunde, is represented by a buffalo mask. In this case, our mask could be identified with Musangwe, female mask. During the performances, Musangwe and Kiyunde dance together. There is no indication that these two categories represent the primordial or mythical couple. Another well-known Tabwa mask is made of glass beads stitched onto raffia cloth. All these masks are involved in ritual dances linked to the fertility ritual. She is out in the forest and has a basket over her arm with some branches of red berries and green leaves-some type of holly perhaps? SPECIFICS: 3-5/8 x 4-11/16 inches. Poem on the back by Fannie Rochat. Burnished gold border. Chromolithograph. Corners bumped w/some slight loss of top paper layer, some additional light perimeter wear/rubbing. Two pin holes to top of card. On back, there are several small brown ink spots(I think) a signature and a round area of lifting to top paper layer to the left of the"H" of the first word(Happy) ... moreof the poem. Normal age toning. Lovely, quality card with great graphics that one expects from Tuck's. Colors are more vibrant and rich than my photos show.
