This tube checker- continuity tester is from the 1960's era and was manufactured by C-B-C Electronics Co. Inc. Philadelphia, Pa. This unit will test 7 pin, 9 pin, octal, and loctal vacuum tubes along with having a continuity tester leads(red wires) This item seems to be operational as after plugging it in the"red" leads were touched together and the neon indicator lit. The hard plastic case/ cover has no cracks with only some scaring marks on the inside of the unit cover. There is no corrosion in any of the vacuum tube pin inserts(best way to describe) and the electrical cord- tester leads are very pliable with no cracking. Hickok TV-7/U Military Tube Tester (FOR PARTS OR REPAIR)
Up for auction is TV-7/U tube tester. Included is a tube data booklet. And the pin straighteners. This unit is being sold as-is. For parts or repair. The outer case is from a base TV-7/U unit. While the tag says it is a TV-7D/U, this is not correct, as the tester does not have the"F" scale which is unique to TV-7D/U units. I attempted to test a 12AX7 with this unit, and found that the filament would not fire. The line adjustment does work. I did not troubleshot the problem any further than this. Inside. It looks pretty clean and original(at least to my eye, which is no expert on TV-7 testers) This is a good parts unit or fixer-upper for a qualified technician. Sencore TC162 Mighty Mite. I just replaced 2 capacitors and calibrated the unit. Works Great. I am also including some New Socket Savers for the 8 and 9 pin sockets. Book is in good shape. Sencore's are great testers that will for sure weed out a bad tube. Even guys with testers that cost a lot more money use a Sencore for initial tests and shorts test. Condition is decent. It wont win prizes but its average with no real dents just some scratches. Hinge and handle are fine. Some minor light surface rust to inside of lid around tube chart.

Here's a nice. Very clean Eico model 667 tube and transistor tester. It's the model with the sockets for 7, 9 and 10 pin miniatures, 5,6, and 7 pin subminatures,octals, loctals, and Compactrons. The Eico 667 is the last and the best of the Eico tube testers. This is the one you want if you're working with vintage electronics. The Eico 667 tester is of the"Dynamic Conductance" type which was originally designed by Jackson as an improvement over simple emission testers without infringing on Hickok's patented"Dynamic Mutual Conductance" design. Eico licensed it from Jackson. And produced a very good tester of this type. Vintage Hickok Military TV 2 C/U Tube Tester
This is a vintage TV 2 tube tester made by LaPointe Industries in good condition. Serial number is# 200. If you know this tube tester it can test many types of tubes with adjustments of many tube variables. I tested a few tubes with this recently after bringing it up slowly on a Variac. It seems to work as described in an online manual I found. But as with any vintage electronics it may need some refurbishment for good operation. This is also not calibrated. One small issue is a hairline crack in the glass on the signal meter. It's very difficult to see, but I wanted to disclose at least everything that I observed. Tube selection roll rotates freely and is in good condition. This is considered a portable tube tester of the dynamic mutual conductance type, but it does weigh almost 40 lbs. It is used to test and to measure performance capabilities ... moreand to determine rejection limit for electron tubes used in receivers, low-powered transmitters, and other electronic equipment.
