Hamilton Beach 941 Scovill Commercial Mixer This is a Hamilton Beach Scovill Model 941 Commercial mixer. It has 3 stainless cups. One is Vollrath Stainless and the other 2 are not marked. Each station has 3 speeds and one of the knobs is different. The center station is mission a set screw. And one station is missing the splash gasket, but this does not affect operation and would be easy to replace. The leveling feet are different, but work fine and the support bar on the bottom is in great condition. Overall I would say this is about a 7.5 to 8 cosmetically as it has some minor scuffs and wear. Then it was put in a air conditioned warehouse and that is where it has spent all of its life. This unit is in excellent condition! YOU CAN NOT GET A NICER MACHINE UNLESS YOU BUY BRAND NEW FROM HOBART. The head chef and class instructor also mentioned they thought the school payed approx. $12.000.00- $13,000.00 for this hcm chopper/cutter/mixer. When we picked this chopper up we noticed some scratches in the tank and the instructor told us a student left a 1/4 ounce measuring spoon inside the tank and turned the chopper on. So that is how the scratches got there and also the metal s-blades had some nicks on the blades on them so the school ordered 2 brand blades and had them installed. This mixer is in good working condition and operates quietly and smoothly. It has been stripped to bare metal. Primed and repainted. It operates on 110V 60hz AC household current. Everything shown in photos goes with the lot. Attachments include 30 quart kettle, band to extend depth of kettle, whip, hook, mixer, rotary slicer, and rotary grater. The speed adjustment and kettle up-down knobs work easily and smoothly. The planetary gears and case have been flushed and the output seal replaced as it was leaking. The oil was replaced with new food grade oil. The only remaining defect is the circular glass on the speed setting scale which has multiple cracks and needs replacing.
