Up for bid is an analog. Mirrored scale, precision voltmeter made by Yokogawa Electric Works, Ltd. in Singapore. The Type 2017 meter is intended for measuring audio frequency voltages up to 300 volts at frequencies from 45 Hz to 10 KHz. The link below will take you to a Yokogawa website with more complete specifications. The meter works, but there is no calibration sticker. I cannot attest to the accuracy of the meter. The meter is in excellent cosmetic condition, with only mild scratches and nicks on the black Bakelite case. The price of this meter when new is approximately 10 times my opening bid.

1946 Microammeter Made by Sensitive Research Instrument Co, in Wooden Case, ExC
For your consideration is this interesting test instrument that is marked in various places"Sensitive Research Instrument Company/Mount Vernon. New York/Direct Current/Microammeter" and has a dial that measures 0 to 50 microamperes. A Microammeter is an instrument for measuring extremely small electric currents, calibrated in microamperes. The instrument has a black plastic face(may be Bakelite or catalin, since it reacts to Simichrome) with a glass window for the dial. There is a document mounted inside the lid where the model number- S- and serial number- 73952- are recorded, with a date of 1946. The instrument is mounted in an oak box that is 7 1/2 inches square and just over 4 inches tall. The box has a secure latch and a leather strap carrying handle on one end. The box is in excellent condition with no problems except that ... morethe 4 rubber pads for it to rest on are disintegrating, the instrument is visually excellent, with no problems, and I have no idea whether it functions properly. Ammeter, Model 45, Antique. These three units are in fair physical condition and are in unknown working condition. All three units have scratches in the wood, some are superficial and some are pretty deep. Also the rubber pads are starting to dry and crumble. the leather handles are worn and there is engraving and residue on them. One unit is from 1945, one from 1959, and the third is from 1967. Accuracy said to be ¼ of 1% of Full Scale. Resistance at each range is 1098.4, 2196.8, 4393.6 at 25 Deg. C. 75 V terminal knob was replaced. Crack in Bakelite at upper right of panel at +/ terminal has no effect on the instrument. Some scratches on the box. Leather on handle is strong but outer layers flaking. Wt is 11 lbs 6 oz.

In 1979 the IM-17 was replaced by the IM-5217 and was produced until 1987. There is only minor differences between the two and it is mostly a matter of look and feel. 12V DC Equus Amphere Meter Tester Box Ammeter
Up for bid is an 12V DC Current AMP Tester assembled from new electrical components. The box is all metal with cooling vents on each side and 4 rubber feet on the bottom. The DC Amphere meter(Ammeter) is a standard 2" lighted automotive gauge made by Equus and reads from-60 to +60. There is approximately 11" of wire lead coming out of the back of the unit. With a Safco 12v male plug. The front of the box has a female 12V cigarette lighter socket next to the gauge. The front of the box has some denting and scratches around the socket and gauge from when the holes were made for them in the thin metal using incorrect tools. Box measures approx. 6" x 5 1/4" x 3" Box is stamped Taiwan, not sure where the Equus gauge or the Safco plug& socket were made. Vintage voltage gauge AC current Westinghouse old cool
This gauge does work and the needle does move when a voltage is applied. But I believe the shunt resistor is bad, I put a 3volt battery on it and it read 51volts. Sold as is for parts not working. No returns and no refunds. Measures 5.5"X5.5"X4.25" not including the terminal posts on the back. The glass is cracked. See all photos. The Enclosure is made of metal.
