HP/ Agilent 8970B Noise Figure Meter w/ Option H18 1800MHz + Noise Source
The meter was tested and seems to make measurements correctly with the model noise source shown it the picture and with our other noise sources in the lab. We have noticed that if the unit is left off the mains for some time it comes up with an Error 26/27 when powering up again. This is easily cleared by running the SP 33.1 IF cal function. It may be that the internal backup memory battery needs replacement after all these years. You will receive as part of the deal a similar model noise source ± 15 dB ENR(10 MHz- 1600 MHz) as shown in the picture. No power cables or interconnecting cables will be included. You have a choice for a noise source with a male SMA connector or male N-type. You need to indicate your choice at checkout. The noise source power connects to the meter via a BNC cable.
