I bought this about 3 months ago but have decided to sell due to the fact that I am going to start farming out my finishing as I have become increasingly sensitive to chemicals of any kind. The one guitar I did use it on(see pic) came out great- it is a super-hard. Crystal clear finish that buffed out beautifully. CA Tech Bobcat AAA HVLP spray gun....
I'm selling my Cougar AAA HVLP spray gun. It is less than a year old and has only been used to spray a couple jobs so it's in excellent condition. The outside has a few paint splatters and light scratches but the internals are very clean. It comes with the 409 nozzle setup and 26-101 air cap. I had it as a second gun dedicated to pigmented finishes. But now just use the same gun for both so it's become redundant. It guarantee it is absolutely clean inside and ready to spray, only thing you may need is a new filter in it. If you have a AAA pump already this could be an excellent second gun! These will set you back close to $600 new. I'm starting out at half that for a gun that's almost new but just cosmetically a little rough. This is a Emeryville Decora paint pressure pot. I think it is a 2 gallon pot but I do not know. The regulator is made out of steel. Brass and maybe copper. The bolts and wing nuts that hold the lid on are made of brass. The lid and the handle are made of aluminum and the tank is steel. The inside of the pot looks good and the bottom looks ok too. I know it's a little crusty on the outside but I think it could be made to work. I think this would make a good steampunk part but If I was going to use it for steam punk I would only use the lid.
