Seth Thomas 24 Hour Clock Here is a very nice. Working vintage(mid century) 24 hour clock for your ham shack. This is a vintage AC plug in wall clock. Has power cord exits at the top and bottom of clock housing. Has very nice face and glass and shiney chrome rim housing. The chrome does have the beginings of pitting but not very noticable and it cleaned up nicely but the pictures exaggerate this condition. It really shows quite well. The motor runs very quietly and a new power cord was installed. Clock set knob and gears are in perfect working condition. A perfect addition for your radio station. About 14.5" in diameter and 3" deep. Packed in a plactic bag and mailed in a new 16x16x10 box with biodegradable anti static packing peanuts to insure safe arrival. This is my father's beloved Eico Model 625 Eico Tube Tester. Has the 4, 5, 6, and 7-pin sockets, the Octal/Loctal, 7-Pin and 9-Pin Miniature sockets. It has Shunt, Line Adjustment, Filament, Selector, with a few other swithes. The center scroll moves freely and guessing it is original as it is somewhat discolored. The light behind the scroll lights up. I was too afraid to plug in a tube, afraid I would blow up something either on the machine or the tube itself. It does not have the original instruction manual. The front is a vibrant blue with grey edges and the case is military green. History: My father was in the US Air Force and was a radio operator. He retired and they hired him as a civilian associate. This is a Hickok tube tester I bought off eBay as a backup. It is in good physical condition. All rotary switches are crisp for its age, all of the spring returns on the pushbuttons are good, and it the tube data roll sheet is readable and complete. I replaced the 5Y3 rectifier when I got it, and also purchased a solid state 83 rectifier but never used it, both it and the original 5Y3 tube are included. Now for the issues- This tester worked great for about 30 tubes, and then stopped indicating transconductance measurements on the meter during tests. The meter still works great(See the picture of the line test) but there is either a dirty connection, popped cap or resistor somewhere that wont allow it to read, and honestly, I just don't have time to troubleshoot and repair this guy, so in the chopping block this goes. But I believe it reads"Jul 25 1945" Solid wood case; very weathered on the exterior. And handle replaced with rope. It did it's job of protecting the contents. The ends of the wire leads for the tube tester both have cracks and chips out of the plastic. No problem, just use a little bit of care when using them. Power plug was damaged. It is replaced. Lafayette Tube Tester Model TE-15 + Tube Chart - Operating Instructions & case
This is a classic Lafayette Tube tester Model TE-15. It includes the instruction booklet. Tube chart and its vinyl plastic carrying case. The checker lights up as shown in photo attached. It has two issues, one is a crack on the meter lens but no piece is missing. It also has half the alligator clamp missing from the tube top connector, easy to replace with standard clamp. Both of these issues are shown clearly in the attached photos. Item looks great appearance wise and has both manuals tucked away in the drawer at the bottom. Very Nice Knight Allied "400" Tube Tester Works Fine
This is a nice example of the Knight 400 Tube Tester. It includes the tube chart which is hidden inside the body of the tester. I tested several 12AX7 tubes and one 6SN7 and the tube tester works fine! Meter moves nice and freely. Filament and load knobs work nicely. The metal cabinet looks like new except for some spotty rust on the lower corner as shown in the last picture.

VINTAGE B&K DYNA QUIK MODEL 500 TUBE TESTER TESTED WORKS GOOD
Here is a nice early B&K Dyna Quik model 500 in good condition. This unit has been tested with a couple of tubes that were tested on a calibrated tester my friend owns and the tubes tested within 5% of his. The previous owner said he used this to test all his tubes and it worked very well. This tester has a 83 rectifier tube in it. And has a slight hum when powered up but everything seems to work as it should, it also comes with a 1B3GT adapter and the tube chart booklet plus there is a page on the back of the cover. I am also going to sell another B&K model 606 in another auction, check that one out. The case is in good condition with some worn spots and the latch has some rust. I have 2 HICKOK TESTERS I will be listing tonight. I acquired these from a lady whose father had been a Radio/ TV Repairman in Ohio back in the 1940's& 50's. These were his personal testers and were in working order when they moved here to Florida in the late 1950's and they have been sitting in her garage ever since then. I do not know how to operate or test them so being sold as is and untested. Please ask questions and I will do my best to answer them. It Measures 17" X 11" X 8" Cosmetically. It appears in very nice condition, some light surface rust ina fw spots but no dings or damage. The case is complete and has normal age related ... morewear. The Adapter aslo appears in good condition, the red electric cord has a small split causing the cloth around the wire inside to be exposed but not the wire itself. The Adapter Box is very fragile and was in pieces when I got it. As shown, I have taped it all back together and, while not cosmetically appealing, it is now functional. There is some paper work with the Adapter(see Photo) and a plastic Instruction Manual Card. I bought this tube tester used as a young ham decades ago. I used it lightly over the years to test vacuum tubes for transmitters. Receivers and amplifiers. All this time it was stored on a shelf under my bench in a dry non-smoking environment. I recently powered it up to test a set of old tubes prior to sale. You'll see one of these in the photo. This is TUNG-SOL Model 78 tube tester by Seco Electronics, Inc. Seco Manufacturing Company) of Minneapolis, Minnesota U.S.A. The serial number is 5051. It is a small portable unit measuring approximately 10 1/2 x 9 x 5 inches, housed in a hinged wood box with what appears to be a plastic covering, metal hinges and latch, and a plastic handle. There are 4 metal feet on the bottom. The case has two compartments. On the right side is the electronics chassis with tube sockets, switches, pots, plate ... morecap, and meter. Manufactured by Multi-Amp Electronic Corp. Serial# 523. Handle and some knobs/ bulbs are missing. This was stored in my deceased brother's attic for unknown years. Sams Television Tube Location Guides(1st and 2nd editions. 1952) Size: 15 1/2" x 9 1/2" x 6 1/4" Weight: 19 lbs Introduction The Model 335 has been designed to measure the plate conductance of amplifier tubes. The dial on the instrument indicates percentage of plate inductance which can also be considered as percentage of mutual conductance in most cases. In addition to the percentage scale. The dial is arranged in four English reading sections- Good, Fair, Weak and Replace. Exhaustive tests have shown that tubes above 85% of their rated plate conductance give good performance. While those between 70% and 85% are only fair, tubes falling between 55% and 70% will still operate but with poor results, and those ... morebelow 55% may cause serious distortion, lack of sensitivity or even damage to associated equipment if the tube is continued in service. The Model 335 circuit has been set up in such a manner as to minimize the number of operations necessary to test the most popular tubes. Up for auction is a classic Jackson Electrical instrument Company Model 598 dynamic conductance vacuum tube tester.This tester does power up and the meter does appear to function properly.As I was able to adjust it using the line control. I didn't take time to familiarize myself with the proper set up of this unit,but I did get a 12AU7 to fire.I used a tube that I know to be good,and this tester showed it as bad.I am not sure if I have the tester set up properly.I am not sure if it is properly working or not.Therefore. This Vintage Eico 667 Tester has been in storage for over 30 years. I don't have the ability to test it and don't know if it works, so I'm offering it in"AS IS" Untested condition. It is in good condition given it's age. Circa 1968) Other then the six black plastic lever tips that are missing. All the parts appear to be present(See Photos) The paper scroll moves correctly and all the levers. Push buttons, and rotary knobs seem to operate correctly. I included pictures of the inside so you can judge for yourself the condition of the parts. The case has some rust on the outside as well as around where the handle is attached. This tester can most likely be refurbished by some one who is skilled in vintage test technology.
