precision model 1077B television analyst - All tubes glow
The 12 tubes inside all glow. The capacitor emits a waft of smoke. Something I have read in another one that was listed. But that one did not have a glow on all the tubes. The CRT glows blue. The case is slightly damaged, that was from me and it was a crush, not a drop, so it did not affect the inside components. The ac line needs a cord, I left it as I am sure you will want to do your own. The unit is being sold as is as I have no way to test and it has a bad capacitor. But I would say it would work once that is replaced. I am thinking about listing the tubes if no one buys it soon. So get it while you can. Thanks!

Vintage Mixer Oscillator One-Of-A-Kind TV Test Signal Generator? Remember TV repairmen? I bought this from one. He made house calls and worked on your set back when they had tubes in them. I bought his tube-tester and new/old stock of tubes. And this was in the bottom of the box, so I can only guess that it’s from the same period: 50s or‘60s. There is no manufacturer information on it and I think this is a one-of-a-kind unit he built himself. It’s a cube that measures about 6” and as you can see in the picture it does power up. I’m inclined to think this was for video rather than audio due to the BNC type connectors which were more common for video. Other than that I have no clue whether it works or what it does. The case.
