This table is all built with 3/16 wall tubing. Weighs over a 1000 lbs, two people can't even pick up one end I promise ... moreyou. Table is square. All tube joint welds are ground flat. As you can see in the pictures, it was nicely painted but I have had it sitting outside so it now has some minor rust stains. Another reason I want to sell it while it's still nice. This frame would make what I believe is the perfect CNC plasma cutting table. It will allow you to easily make a 5' by 10' or 5' x 9' burn table with 3' to 4' at the end open. This will allow you to cut patterns in say large rectangular tubing that wouldn't fit on your burn slates and clear the torch. Etc etc, and or this leaves the end open to set up a C or 4th axis for tube cutting various profiles or shapes etc. Also you could get scrap sections of 2. To 6 inch plate set up on saw horses etc. Replace the plasma torch with a oxy-fuel torch and burn out thick plate on those rare occasions. Then quickly go back to your standard plasma cutting table. Best of all worlds here. That is how I would set up a plasma table anyway. This is a large flatbed printer that I purchased used with the intention of removing the pencil and replacing it with a plasma cutting torch. Unfortunately I never got around to it. This would be a great starting point for either a cnc plasma cutter or a laser cutter/ engraver Overall Dimmensions 102" x 62" x 40" X axis Travel: ~72" Y axis Travel: ~50" The motors are driven with 24 vdc motors and optical encoders. The motors have been tested and are working. Included are two computers. Each with a 2-axes Galil motion control card, which are untested. Thermal Dynamics CM 52 Plasma Cutter
A good used Thermal Dynamics CM52 Plasma Cutter. This is a 220V single phase machine with a 20' Radnor torch. The machine is in good. Used, working condition. I bought it new in either late 2011 or early 2012 to cut 14 and 16 ga 304 stainless. I have also used it on plates in the 1/4" to 1/2" range. It's rated for 1/2, will pierce 1" carbon plates. I didn't really use it on heavier than 1/2" plate. I've owned a few plasma cutters since about 1994 and this one is by far the most dependable machine I've owned or run. I am the ONLY person who has ever used this machine. I own it personally and I kept it locked in the shop so that no one else ever had access to the machine. I am very careful with my tools and I did everything I could to keep this machine in good condition. I have used this in the range ... moreof 50 to 75 hours total time and mostly in mid amperage settings cutting 16 ga 304 stainless sheet. I last used it in July 2014 on 1/4" carbon steel plate making gussets and it worked perfectly. When set right you can grind the slag in mere moments because there is almost none. It's been in my garage since late July and I don't need it any longer so I'm selling it. It has no consumables with it, but those can be purchase online or at any Airgas store in the USA. It's a common gun and you'll have no problem getting parts for the torch. I have a stand off tip on the gun and I recommend that you keep using it cause it keeps you from scorching the consumables. You're getting a good machine with this one and you can buy this with confidence because it's exactly what you see in the pictures and it's in good solid working condition. Plug it in, turn on the air and it will cut immediately. I'll ship it to any USA address and I'll do a really careful job packing it for you too.
