This is a TW(Tradewind) Demodulator which is essentially the same as Pico 900CS 806Mhz RF Demodulator with the front name plate being different. This powers up fine and works fine and looks new- no rust. TW/Pico 900CS demodulator can be used as an analog tuner which includes demodulation of channel 2/3/4 of old retro computer or gaming consoles. It takes a RF input from VCR/Atari 400/800/2600/Pong C140/etc. systems and gives a clear audio/video output on the TV. It allows setting of channel and selecting the various types of signals- TV/Cable/IRC/etc. This will convert the RF signal from an Atari 2600. 5200, 400, 800, XL, XE, VCR, Commodore 64, C-140 Atari Pong, etc. to separate audio and composite video for hooking up to modern TVs that take A/V input. Note that some of the connectors are coaxial so they require the F adapter(s) that converts ... morethe video and audio to RCA type connectors. But these are available for less than a buck. This also supports MPX Audio and composite audio so you can output stereo audio along with composite video. Given the wipe out of analog RF channel decoding on many modern LCD TVs, you can add this demodulator to that modern TV to allow for decoding the analog RF signals into the A/V component signals which modern LCD TVs do support. See my other auctions for other demodulators including a cheaper 232-MTA model. Pico/TW demodulators seem to be of higher quality than the 232-MTA models. Only tested to work on NTSC systems.
