I have a used Vintage Sun Performance Tester Model SS-400 for sale. These engine testers were used on ignition points and HEI Distributors for many years. This tester still has all the correct hookup connectors to check Ignition Points and HEI Distributors. Spark Plug Wires, Dwell Meter, Compression Tester, still has original timing light with original owners manual. This tester has been in storage for some years now. Its dusty and will need to be cleaned inside and out. This testor would make for a nice collection piece for a Car Museum, Garage, Vintage Car Building with collector Cars. These are very rare and are hard to find this day and age. Very rare vintage Shasta (Beckman Inst) VTVM model 201, tested works collectible
exact item shown. Beckman Instruments. Shasta Division, Model 201 VTVM- built like a true piece of aerospace equipment, serial number is 208, so this is early production or there were very few made(I've never seen another) I have not been able to find out much about this particular model. I have removed the very old battery(when you check out, please let me know if you would like me to discard it for you) and I tested it on DC ranges with a battery as my reference source- it measured correctly after a few minutes warmup to stabilize. I did not check AC or Ohms ranges. I would recommend some contact cleaner to clean up the rotary switches. Please ask any questions before bidding Check out my!

This listing is for a VINTAGE IN ORIGINAL CASE. MODEL"J" HAND TACHOMETER. The item appears to be Vintage. Rare and Complete in the Original Wooden Black Box. The Box has a lightweight leather covering. There is light wear and minor"dinging" to the box; it has a front closure that closes evenly and tight; the hinges are a bit rusted, but tight. There are 7 pieces plus Instructions fitted in the box with an additional 1 1/2" metal piece that was also in the box-it probably doesn't go with the set, since the instructions don't provide for the piece. Since it was in the box, it comes with the item. The top underside of the box has a strip of Black elastic that is tight and goes over a Black, round"fitted" plastic piece that rests on top of the paper instructions. The instruction paper is very discolored, including a"ring" from where the plastic piece rests; however, the instructions are readable. The lining in the Box is a"Blue Velvet-type" of material. There are 5 metal pieces; 3 have rubber tips; 1 piece is fitted tightly and I could not remove it-I actually did not want to"force" it out of the slot. The Tachometer is heavy with light scratching to the metal; a small piece of plastic on the other side of the dial has a small"chip" which is shown in photo#8. There is a bit of dirt inside the box. The round plastic piece is 3 1/2" across and approx. 12" around. The Tachometer is heavy, weighing nearly 1 1/2 lbs. It is 4 1/4" across, 13 1/2" around the Black rim; 10 1/2" around the metal bottom and 2 1/2" high. There is a piece extending from the Tachometer with MED. LOW HIGH. The Face looks clean.
