You're bidding on a Tektronix 468R 100MHz Storage Oscilloscope in very good cosmetic condition that I'm selling for parts or repair. I've owned this unit for about 16 years now and it's been a solid performer until about 2 years ago when it stopped working. It was also calibrated in about 2008 and saw light daily use since then. No blown fuses and it powers up but no trace. All main board supply voltages are OK but the storage board voltages are all 0. After a bit of hemming and hawing. I kind of decided that don't have the time to fix it. One quick thing. The A trigger pot had the polarity switch knob clumsily broken as I was moving the scope to take the pictures. It's just the knob and the pot and switch are both OK. If you're looking for one to fix up. There is no problems but has not had a full calibration for a few years but as far as I have seen there was no need as there was never a question to its accuracy. Tektronix TDS540C 4-ch 500MHz digital oscilloscope with Instaview - Loaded!
Up for auction is a Tek TDS540C 4 channel 500MHz oscilloscope with Instaview. This unit is loaded with options. Including: 13- Serial/parallel option. 1F- Floppy drive. HD- Hard drive 2M- Extra deep memory- up to 8M acquisition length. 2F- Advanced DSP math. This unit works great on all channels. Triggering works on all channels. Display is nice and bright, with no burn marks. SPC passes every time, error log is clean. The floppy drive works, I can save waveforms on the scope and read them using my laptop USB drive. The original hard drive was replaced with a Flash hard drive, so you have no worries about the hard drive giving up. There's a ton of storage on this unit! See the pictures of the hard drive file listing if you are interested. The NVRAM and RTC clock calendar have been socketed with gold machine pin sockets and replaced with ... morenewer parts, so no worries about having issues with the batteries dying anytime soon. Since the parts are now socketed, replacement will be a snap in the future. Everything works on this scope. And if you find an issue with this scope I will refund your money. I have included pictures showing all channels working with a 20Mhz sinewave. This is a beautiful piece of gear, the color equivalent of this scope would be the TDS754C. The unit is very clean, only some slight blemishes/scratches on the front bezel from normal usage. I cannot guarantee calibration, however, as it has been some time since it was last calibrated.
