Honda Generator EB5000X control panel
For sale is the control panel from a Honda EB5000X 11hp generator. The generator was working but it would constantly need the field recharged and we got tired of taking it to the shop. I pulled the motor for a go kart. The control panel is complete with all wiring connector in the back. Nothing has been cut. Insides are clean, no corrosion. The face has some concrete splatter and one of the 30A plug had a piece of plastic broken off but it still works fine. Take a look at the pics and let me know if you have any questions. This carburetor was removed from a Kawasaki KG5000AS generator after the generator's crank broke at the flywheel. The carburetor did sit for awhile so you should plan to need to r ebuild it. There is some significant wear in the hole in the throttle shaft. I have had the carburetor apart and see no reason why this carburetor cannot be rebuilt and placed back into service. I purchased this generator I out of Florida. Around 2002, I was told it was a 4.5 and I received this one which is a 6.5 and it was much to big and heavy to put in my boat at that time. About 4 years ago I decided to get rid of it, I listed it on eBay and the purchaser did not follow though. Shipping this is expensive it weighs about 400 pounds. At that time I did get it running, everything work and it produced good power on both the 120 and 240 side. I have been sitting on it since then. I am doing some spring cleaning and am getting rid of a bunch of stuff and this needs to go. I hook-up a battery and it would not turn over, I think it is just the starter, I was able to turn the fly wheel by hand so it is not frozen. The start may just need a good cleaning or rebuild. I will take a loss on this, as you know if you are looking marine gas ... moregenerator, you know that they are very expensive and I do not have the time to work on it right now. I can not offer any shipping on this. It is for local pick up only and AS IS WHERE IS. Honda EU2000i Engine and Generator Section complete with Wiring Harness
This engine and generator section came from a running generator. Compression feels strong and the assembly rotates smoothly. Holding my compression gauge to the sparkplug hole with a rubber gasket gives me around 100psi. I'm sure its well over that if I could thread the tester into the small sparkplug hole.This should be a drop in for an EU2000i with a bad engine or stator/ rotor. Comes exactly as pictured. WILL BE SHIPPED WITH NO OIL!
