For Auction- 1- 36" WB. Werk-Brau excavator bucket in very good condition. This bucket was purchased new and was used to load chrome ore for less than 100 hours. It is made for a Caterpillar EL 240 but may also fit other models including a 320. You will need to measure your machine to be sure. The bucket is 35" wide and 37" deep at the deepest point with a 12" lip. Both connection points are the same. Measuring 12-3/8" inside spacing. The pins appear to be either 3-3/16" or 3-18" in diameter and are 21" in overall length. Both pins are included. The spacing of the pins is about 17-1/2" center to center. The sides of the bucket are 3/8" and are plated 10" back on the cutting surface and 6" deep on the bottom with 7/8" plate. It has very heavy side cutters that are in 80%+ condition. ... moreThere are 5 teeth on the bucket and 5 new ones that come with it. The bucket has been painted yellow but not very well. It appears that the paint was applied over surface rust. Over all. I would judge the condition of this bucket to be 85- 90% My measurements are probably not exact. I do not know a lot about this unit as I just recently purchased it with intent to go through the whole thing and make it real nice. Things have changed in life so I am going to part with it. It has a twin cylinder gas engine that runs good. I am going to guess around 24 horsepower or so. I just purchased 4 brand new rims and tires at a cost of $1500.00. The original ones will go with it. The old rims are in usable condition. However the tires are pretty junkie, but they do hold air. I was planning on putting something smooth on the old rims in case I ever wanted to do some work on a lawn, not to tear it up so much. There is also a second bucket and a set of forks with it as well. The other bucket is much nicer that the one that is on the machine now. The forks ... moreare in real good shape and not bent up or anything like that. Most, if not all of the of the hydraulic hoses have been replaced recently. It does have auxiliary hydraulics on it but the foot pedal that operates it is missing. The machine has a couple little oil leaks here or there, but that should probably be expected for a unit of this age. I have had the side covers off of it and looked everything over before I bought it and all the gears/sprockets and chains look really good. I changed all the fluids and filters when I bought it. There are a few quirky things that need to be addressed. The rubber hose that goes from the carb to the are filter needs attention. It is cracked and should be repaired. Probably find a universal radiator hose to work. The sticks will need adjusting as it tends to move in the neutral position. There are some pins that need cotter pins installed as there are bent screws and nails instead. A couple of grease fittings need replacing. The muffler is kind of cobbled, but does work and is quiet.
