This is a real nice original sales catalog from the Minneapolis Threshing Machine Company. It measures about 7 3/4 x 10 1/2 inches with 52 pages. I covers all of the big gas prairie tractors that they built and also has the smaller ones. There is a section devoted to their steam traction engines as well as their threshing machines. Plows, and accessories. It is in very good condition for being nearly a century old. It has some light soiling and wear and a few of the center pages have detached from the staples but they are all there and in good condition. This would be a great addition to you early agriculture advertising collection. It would especially display nicely with your big Minneapolis tractor! One is marked size 5& the other is size 7. The size 7 is engraved with the letter"M" The thimble on the right is a little uneven along the bottom edge. Also is a nice shell thimble case. Sterling S ilver Thimble This auction is for the thimble in the photos. This thimble was made by Waite. Thresher Co and is dated 1890 s. It is sterling s ilver thimble with a wide band with beading along the lower edge. Most way around the band is a pattern of upright and upside down palmettes. There is an example of this type of thimble in"American Silver Thimbles" by Gay Ann Rogers on page 1 15. Photo 6 on the right. But with palmettes and not boats. It is marked on the inside with the a thimble in a star. Sterling and 11 for the size. This thimble is in round with no holes. Please feel free to email me with any questions. Vintage original Oliver thresher baler 1:16 scale cool looking missing parts
Here is something you do not see to often. This is an old toy Oliver thresher baler. I would grade it a 4. It does have some missing parts. It is missing the tongue. The part that would thresh the grass or hay. I believe this is a 1:16 scale diecast. Would look great on shelve in a office or shed. If you have any questions please call 641-420-9715.
