You are bidding on a loose lot of S scale Split Rail fencing material. There are about 150+ pieces about 3-1/4" long which in S scale is about 17 long. There are also 75+ pieces about 1-1/2" long for the brace/corner posts in this lot that are loose and you can use them as you need. All"logs" are gathered from my woods which is mainly Maple.Hickory, and Oak trees. Each"log" is aged for a minimum of 6 months before they are cut to length and split. Each"log" is then sawn by hand to the desired length. After being cut to length each log is hand split into the split rail fence pieces as shown. This card is an advertisement for the R. J. Menz Lumber Company's exhibit at the 1909 Alaska-Yukon-Pacific(AYP) Exposition in Seattle. Washington. On the front, opposite the address panel, is a photo of the exhibit in the Forestry Building. On the back is a letter from"Buck I. Shingle" extolling the virtues of the Buckeye Brand red cedar shingles sold by the Menz company. It is in good condition with no bends, tears, creases or stains.

The car is complete except for one wood beam lumber load is missing. As seen in the picture provided. The white graphics over the semi flat black paint is clean. There is some very slight surface rust on the metal axles which can be easily removed with a dremel tool or sanding paper. Some of them have margins which is included in the size shown in photo. I have dated the cookbook to 1929 by researching the advertisements. There was an add for a Chevrolet Coupe for $645 which was current price in 1929. A bank advertisement research shows it changed it's name in 1930 and closed in 1931. I feel confident the year is accurate! The cookbook was from Royal Oak Michigan. Some ads do no show address- I am listing as a Royal Oak business. A great piece of history. CONDITION: The cookbook was heavily worn and stained. Paper is very worn and stained. All the ads have printing/ handwriting on the backside of the paper.
