This is the original listing.Nice camera. This was converted to lithium ion(li-Ion) batteries. The batteries will last many years, not like NiCad NiMH. The batteries stay in the handle. The camera will run for about 3 hours and 50 minutes on a charge. The camera will image in monochrome or color. A battery charger is included. Thermal Imager Imaging Camera Flir Ghost Hunting MSA 5000 Infrared
MSA Evolution 5000 camera with truck charger. Manual and 3 batteries. 1 battery is new and the other 2 are at about 75% capacity. The camera uses Sony NP-F550 camcorder batteries. These can be bought new for about $15.00 each. The camera is in good condition with a few light scuffs. This is a much smaller and lightweight camera than the MSA 4000. The included truck charger is basically a mobile charger with a 12.5 to 26 volt input and is designed to attach to a fire truck. The charger will charge the battery in the camera plus 1 external battery. One of the 3 rubber mounting pads for the truck charger is missing. The camera has an issue when powering up the camera. The image is delayed by a couple of minutes. A distorted image is displayed for another minute and then the camera works perfectly until the camera is powered off and sits for ... moreseveral hours. This seems to only happen around 70-72 degrees F. I opened the camera to see if there was an obvious reason for the issue but could not find any. I believe the camera core is thermally intermittent. I did not spend much time trying to trace the cause of the thermal intermittency. I removed the snap clips that hold the plexiglass cover for the LCD to gain access to the camera core. I do not have a tool to put the clips back in place. The rubber armor holds everything together just fine for normal use. I will include the clips in a plastic bag with the camera. Again. The camera works fine if you have a few minutes of patience to wait for the image on power up. This item cannot be exported. Sales to the USA only. Last second bidders- When you bid. You will get a couple of messages from eBay stating this cannot be exported. The messages will slow you down and you may miss the opportunity.

This is the last of the Scott Eagle Imager 6 Thermal Imaging Cameras that I have- this one is not functioning 100% properly. BUT it has a guaranteed working IR camera module that can be customized to use in any project you desire! This unit also has the Wireless Transmitter installed. These are normally used by firefighters, police and rescue teams to locate persons in dark, smoky or low visibility areas to locate"heat" from persons or other sources. They additionally can be used for hunting as well, the benefits are obvious! Camera Model: I.R. Camera w/XMTR Camera Part: 40014831 This unit is a bit rough on the outside. You can see that the case was cracked at somepoint and epoxied back together. The front of the unit is missing the filter lens that covers the camera. The monitor does not"hold" position because the metal ... morering/ball-bearing that should be there is missing. As far as functionality goes. The built-in screen on the unit does not appear to be working. When the unit is fully powered up, the screen is all"white" and does not show video. If you connect an external monitor to the unit via the composite connector on the side of the unit, video appears properly! The IR Camera module is 100% functional, it's just that the screen on the back of the unit isn't working. Opening the unit is simple, just requires removal of approximately 6 screws and the case comes apart. The IR Camera portion of the unit appears to be a self-contained unit which makes it GREAT to use in anything you want. It has a very simple wiring harness that only requires +12vdc for input(red/black) and green/white for composite video(green = ground. White=video signal) I pulled the camera module out and tested it invidually and you can see that it works independently of the rest of the unit. Thermal Imager Imaging Camera Flir Ghost Hunting MSA 5000 Infrared Night Vision
Re-listed due to non-paying bidder. MSA Evolution 5000 camera with truck charger. Manual and 3 batteries. 1 battery is new and the other 2 are at about 75% capacity. The camera uses Sony NP-F550 camcorder batteries. These can be bought new for about $15.00 each. The camera is in good condition with a few light scuffs. This is a much smaller and lightweight camera than the MSA 4000. The included truck charger is basically a mobile charger with a 12.5 to 26 volt input and is designed to attach to a fire truck. The charger will charge the battery in the camera plus 1 external battery. One of the 3 rubber mounting pads for the truck charger is missing. The camera has an issue when powering up the camera. The image is delayed by a couple of minutes. A distorted image is displayed for another minute and then the camera works perfectly until the ... morecamera is powered off and sits for several hours. This seems to only happen around 70-72 degrees F. I opened the camera to see if there was an obvious reason for the issue but could not find any. I believe the camera core is thermally intermittent. I did not spend much time trying to trace the cause of the thermal intermittency. I removed the snap clips that hold the plexiglass cover for the LCD to gain access to the camera core. I do not have a tool to put the clips back in place. The rubber armor holds everything together just fine for normal use. I will include the clips in a plastic bag with the camera. Again. The camera works fine if you have a few minutes of patience to wait for the image on power up. This item cannot be exported. Sales to the USA only. Last second bidders- When you bid. This is an MSA Evolution 5200HD2 Series Thermal Imaging Camera. This is a very nice. Light and compact thermal imager. It's not bulky at all and aiming it can be done with ease without having a sore arm from holding up a heavy unit! The camera is in good physical condition with scuffs. Marks and wear from normal usage. This was a field used unit, therefore wear should be expected. Based on a visual inspection, I do not see any cracks or other major sources of damage. The screen/display area is in good shape with minor scuffs on the screen but none that impair the display or visibility of the unit. Most of the shell is made of a durable rubber material that keeps the unit safe. Battery compartment is clean with no internal damage. One great feature with this camera is that it uses relatively inexpensive batteries. You can use a camera/video ... morecamera style battery in this unit such as the Sony NP-F550. This is an MSA Evolution 5200 Series Thermal Imaging Camera. This is a very nice. Light and compact thermal imager. It's not bulky at all and aiming it can be done with ease without having a sore arm from holding up a heavy unit! The camera is in good physical condition with scuffs. Marks and wear from normal usage. This was a field used unit, therefore wear should be expected. Based on a visual inspection, I do not see any cracks or other major sources of damage. The screen/display area is in good shape with no scratches or blemishes. Most of the shell is made of a durable rubber material that keeps the unit safe. Battery compartment is clean with no internal damage. One great feature with this camera is that it uses relatively inexpensive batteries.
